Since he's dead it's more of a "spiritual transfer" thing. He'll have eyes, but it'll be his normal eyes and not sharingan.

It's kinda like the Christian theory that when you are in heaven you will be rejuvenated to the point where you were at your most healthy and/or most happy point in your life (which is why he was a younger Obito beyond the grave).

It was an OK chapter for me. Obito has been completely exonerated of all of his past crimes and we can move on beyond more chapters about him outside of referencing.

Kakashi got a dual Mangekyō Sharingan upgrade and he made out like a god damn bandit. Assuming his upgrade, he just went from useless to:

1) Powered up Mangekyō Sharingan (will not lose eyesight).
2) Powered up Kamui (allowing him to eye/touch people and take them to Kamui dimension as well as appear intangible to all basic and some advanced attacks).
3) Space-time ninjutsu immunity.
4) His own Amaterasu.
5) His own Susanoo'o.
6) Tsukuyomi & Infinite Tsukuyomi.
7) Six Paths of Pain.
8) Ability to transfer Mangekyō Sharingan & Rinnegan to Six Paths of Pain as well as revived people.
9) Izanagi and possibly Izanami techniques.
10) Able to talk to and control tailed-beasts.
11) Able to summon controlled tailed-beasts.
12) Possible latent dual-Rinnegan.
13) All 5 Rinnegan Path techniques under possible latent Rinnegan.
14) Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique (kill self to revive everyone to life in a specific area) under possible latent Rinnegan.

All that in addition to his old skills that he had with his immature Mangekyō Sharingan. Of course his only weakness now is that he doesn't have the chakra level of a real Uchiha, so he'll have to train to make use of everything.

Kakashi is now bossmode.

Aside from the finer details, we do have enough pieces to put it together. Madara was meddling in the Mist, particularly in manipulating the Mizukage (which also relates to Zabuza's fleeing of the village). Their plan was to implant their tailed beast into Rin, who would in turn go back to Konoha and lose control of it (and die in the process) so the beast would rampage in the village. The only thing we really don't know is how Kakashi learned of this, unless like Sasuke invading Naruto's inner world, he could've done the same for Rin. Tactically, this also puts their tailed beast out of their hands for however long it would take to naturally regenerate, and if I recall, despite being in a filler arc in the anime, the Akatsuki did wind up catching it in the wild. I suppose the irony of said filler is the character they used to sort of control did look like the Mizukage, its last host.

Obito transfers his eyes to Kakashi without having to use medical ninjutsu

So if those eyes can aparently take you to and from the kingdom of death, can't he just teleport in there and grab Rin? Or didn't he die yet and was hiding out in his own private dimension and got a heureka moment?
