For the mother of all chakra I was expecting the fight to be more nail biting. Someone needed to lose an arm or an eye. Hell, even Sakura survived without god tier power ups. That's what made the Madara/Hashirama fight so awesome, Hashirama was also on the verge of collapse. Maybe they are saving that for SauceBoss vs. Naruto in some final friend-off?

I think it was meant to be symbolic, Naruto showing us his "dealing with ninjas business" face. He does get to make it often, maybe only when konoha was destroyed by pein. But goddayum, dude didn't think twice about sealing them in a new moon in another dimension. No power of friendship for you bitch!

If we want to be fair, this started at the kage summit where all 5 nations declared they would work together to stop Madara.

It's been in the making for awhile, but that was the point where we could definitively say this is how it ends.

Really glad this seems to be wrapping up. Looking forward to the next few chapters finishing things (as long as they don't throw out another bad guy lol). Once this manga ends it is going to be quite weird though, after reading it for this long. >.>

It looks like that already happened. When they take their hands off her the yin/yang symbols are gone and reappear on the Sage.

I highly doubt the manga will be over in 10 chapters. Have they announced this as the final arc? With Bleach, we've known the end was coming for over a year now, and we still aren't close.

Yeah it's the final arc. Kishi said the series is coming to an end, but even then that means it still has many many months to close all the stories and get every ones last farewell. As far as fighting big baddies though, this might really be it.

I still think there will be something involving Naruto vs Sasuke (with some Orochimaru involvement), but I don't think it'll be as grandiose or long as the war arc

Not to harp on this note but you reminded me of the fact that this war itself essentially lasted 2 MAYBE 3 days.
