I approve of this plot twist, mainly because I hate Sasuke and I really get kicks out of watching him writhe in agony, be it psychological or physical. :nikkei:

Pretty sure having to read/watch Sasuke's agony is the reason most people hate him to begin with...Originally Posted by Mikayla
Probably. It becomes a win-win situation in the end though, because by the time you start hating him, you actually start to enjoy seeing him suffer. Maybe that was the intent!Originally Posted by BRP
I'm bored of Sassy-chan crap. I wanna see what happens when Naruto finds out Jiraiya is dead (assuming he is dead). You know he's either gonna flip the fuck out or go all emo like Sassy-chan.
AND I wanna see how the rest of Sassy-chan's little group is doing. Minus the chick, she seems useless in battles so far.
I'm pretty damn sure Naruto is going to learn some sort of space-time jutsu. Yeah, it's an assumption, but there is every reason for it to be so. When you look at pain, he can see all sides of every attack, how do you counter something like that? And why is Pain listening to madara if Rinnengan is stronger? I think it has to do with spacetime jutsu. If you can just instantly appear behind one of pains bodies, the extra bodies wont be able to see it quick enough. Hence why madara may have some control over him (if not a genjutsu control over him). Also, yeah, he's the 4ths son, I think that leaves open a ton of possibilities. "Here is the key jiraiya asked you recieve after he died, your mom wanted to give it to you" Blam, the key opens up more ninetails and possibly hidden abilities. Maybe the 4th's spacetime jutsu is a bloodline that noone knows about, since they like to point out naruto not having one SO DAMN MUCH, maybe the key can open it possibly. Also, how do you beat Spacetime jutsu's without Spacetime jutsus?Originally Posted by Maguspk
And are we forgetting DBZ? I see a Teleport-behind-your-back-rasengan comming. Let's face it, Naruto is pretty damn bland ability wise. He has an enourmous chakra pool, and 1-2 strong abilities. He is really strong, but he really doesn't have anything going for him. He doesn't have the brains that his comrades have, he doesn't have the bloodlines, he's only got the fox. He's gotta get something more, something better than just the shit he's been relying on since day1. If Jiraiya couldn't beat pain with all of his crazy abilities, then naruto has no chance against those 2 evils, not to mention much against sasuke anymore now that he has crazyeyes. Space-time jutsu's would fill that gap of nothingness that he has very nicely.
doubt it.
I haven't been wrong yet. This manga is incredibly predictable for the most part, and whats not predictable has been fail lately.
But its only assumption, doubt me all you want, naruto himself needs new moves because his are way overused. A spacetime jutsu would be nice for him to learn, and it's something that already exists so they don't need to come up with something retarded like his wind-rasengan.
don't ever take the Fuuton-Rasenshuriken for![]()
since im impatient, what's naruto going to learn next week in the anime? and what's this special training technique kakashi's talking about?
Check your PMs when you get a chance.Originally Posted by Saga
Basically Naruto is going to be doing training using his affinity for the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu which allows him to train hundreds of copies of himself at once, and then when he releases them all their experience goes back to him. So even though Naruto is not bright on the whole, he can learn at an accelerated rate due to his ability to learn at essentially 1000x the speed it would take. He's going to learn how to use his chakra with an element or whatever and split a leaf, then use that same wind chakra or whatever to part a waterfall iirc. Then eventually infuse it into the Rasengan. (Hope I remembered that right.)
@Boyiee, I wasn't doubting you just wondering what your thought process was. I forgot about that key and yeah I agree it's obviously going to involve some sort of awakening in Naruto. Hopefully the teleportation jutsu that the 4th used (White Lightning?) was a Bloodline. That'd be fucking badass for Naruto to get; but ya it'd be extremely reminiscent of Goku's Instant Transmission lol. Instant Transmission + Kamehameha ftw lolz
Yeah I was expecting Spacetime+Rasengan lol.
Even if it's not a bloodline, his father being able to use those jutsus, and know them well, just begs for naruto to be able to do so at some point. It would be nice, because like I said, his abilities have always been rather bland and it would make him much more affective. Even if he used kagebushins still, how sick would being able to teleport them be lol. It's overpowered I guess, but it really is rather lame for the 4th to have them, and madara to have them, and not too many others in the series.
It'd add alot of depth and give Naruto a logical chance when otherwise he'd obviously have no chance. Add onto that the obvious demon fox chakra he will have access to after he has the key...he'd probably be the theoretically strongest character in the series only limited by himself.
What is this key you guys are talking about? Did I miss something while reading the manga? Also, the 4th's jutsu required those shuriken with the markings on them to be thrown and I think he could teleport to them at will so wouldn't those same shuriken or something with that particular marking be required for Naruto to take advantage of that jutsu as well, while Madara can do it at will?
He only used the Shuriken as a marker I thought, I'm sure the power itself was a bit more complicated than that otherwise everybody would have used it. The key is mentioned in the chapter before Jiraiya goes into battle or when he is dieing. He gives it to the frog guy.Originally Posted by Takie
I'm not sure if they say he needs them to teleport. If I remembe kakashi gaiden correctly, he has his team throw the surikens at the enemy, before he teleports to defeat them. It may just let him know where to stop using the jutsu, the one he gave Kakashi just let me know if someone threw it, so he could come help them.
The kunai the Fourth used had a summoning tag on it similar to how some ninjas have used exploding tags on them, and the Fourth would be summoned/teleported using the tag on the kunai. It has to be more complicated than it sounds to be able to be summoned, but I'm sure if it was a bloodline someone would have already tried having Naruto use it.
Not when the fact that Naruto is the son of the 4th is hidden from everybody except Tsunade and Jiraiya. I'm hoping Boyiee is right, it'd be badass to see Naruto teleporting and shit. Teleporting Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, yes!
I'd like it to be something unexpected, as well as being better then the reg. teleportation in someway.
I'm not so sure thats the case. If you look at the first encounter in Kakashi Gaiden, Yondaime uses it twice in a row, once to save Kakashi from being sliced vertically and again to take out the last clone of the doode they were facing. And both times, he didn't bother throwing the kunai or have any sort of pre-placed tag there to begin with. Maybe the tag is just an indicator for Yondaime to know what to expect if he doesn't know where he's warping off to.Originally Posted by Ivaden
Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure Naruto will learn it eventually
