Hm.. well if we look at the arc as a whole, she was a bit more useful there. Her medical-nin knowledge saved Kankuro, and while she was being controlled by Chiyo, true, Sakura couldn't have beat him alone, but it's not like Chiyo could've done it alone either.
Was a pretty good combination, really.

Dude has taken down a kingdom by himself, I think it's ok if the chunin had an old woman help her out.

Honestly though, she has always done just fine post time skip (aside from when she tries to fight sasuke). Her main problem is not enough screen time during fights.

By average ninja standards, she's far above average. She just has the manga curse of being compared to the 2 main characters who get buttloads of power-ups and screen-time lol. Take the Sauce and Naruto and the excessively powered baddies out of the picture, and she's easily one of the best ninja's in the Naruto world.

She developed an antidote that was pivatol in the fight. She was bad fucking ass. Ever since, her writings been terrible. A real shame imo.

I honestly can't think of anything she did (non sauce related) that wasn't awesome though. I just don't remember much about her at all is the problem. I can think of her one shotting one of Pain's summons while a bunch of Anbu were jerking off or something, and I think she spotted the zetsu clone that was killing people? Or maybe not. I should go back and reread the war arc lol. Probably way better in one sitting as opposed to stretched over 3 years.

Well, hind sight is 20/20, but she couldn't kill or even fight Sasuke a handful of times.

Yeah she was beyond useless in regards to Sasuke. I agree. I just think she was fine outside of that.
