For the movie yeah, maybe not for the spinoff. Very rare for a spinoff to be successful though! Hopefully Kishi has some fresh ideas for a creative new story.

True, but I'm sure if it's a fun sort of read like Soul Eater Next is, it'll be okay.

That shot at the end really threw me for a loop. Quite a bit of development for only a couple of decades.
It made some of the clothes of the characters make a little more sense though.

Massive foreshadowing for the "spin-off" that's actually going to be a sequel.

Sasuke seeing shit, the kids, etc.

Guaranteed this story is not finished. Too much of a cash cow.
