Never forget.
Never forget.
Spoiler: show
lulz
Nevermind the Uzumaki kids, can you imagine how powerful Baruto and Salad's kids are gonna be?
It should have been more apparent to these people when Naruto basically said fuck you to Sakura when she said she would be with him. People were talking about the databooks and how it said he still loved her. When did they come out? And people also seem to forgot that they're still teenagers.
Kishi is all about mirrors. NaruSaku mirrors JiraiTsu. Jiraiya crushed on Tsunade but eventually comes to recognize her as a friend. Naruto crushes on Sakura but eventually comes to recognize her as a friend. The Sannin mirror Team7. Disciples mirror their masters etc etc.
The only thing out of left field is SasuSaku cause it's dumb and had no windup. Sasuke never displayed any interest in Sakura and their pairing is a matter of convenience. Honestly, Karin would have been a better pairing for Sasuke and Lee with Sakura. At least LeeSaku had some play. I'd have applauded Lees Dynamic Entry there.
SasuSaku, the new Vegeta/Bulma.
Eh... at least they had the avenue of The Sauce waking up to Sak's affections. Team Four Star pretty much hit it on the head that Vegeta and Bulma was a hatefuck that ended up with Trunks coming along.
Eh, I'm not sure I agree. Sakura and Sasuke were the top two members of that ninja class. Sakura didn't have the raw power that Sasuke had, but she was a perfect student, and the fact that she eventually became one of the most powerful kunoichi backs that up, Sasuke would come to respect that.
As well, I think the two "main pairings" work very well, in that you have a "loud" member and "quiet" member. Naruto and Hinata. Sakura and Sasuke, they are meant to balance each other out. Also remember that Sasuke didn't show any feelings in return because of his overriding desire to avenge, so how he'd act post-699 would be a bit different than the rest of the story.
We can assume epilogue Sasuke is open to affection from Sakura but as far as the manga has been concerned it's been decidedly one-sided since day one. Sakura pines, Sasuke doesn't give a fuck. Sakura cries, Sasuke tries to murderize her. Her weird relationship with Lee seems more natural, even
I think he showed more affection towards Karin but he was using the fuck out of that team so....
Basically, even dense Naruto showed affection towards Hinata despite being a shounen and thus unable to pick up on the affections of a woman. Sasuke has never, ever showed anything but wanton indifference towards Sakura.
You complain about no build up for SasuSaku but think LeeSaku would have made sense? Are we only considering male POVs here?
Sauce was too busy being emo to think about being in a relationship. Sakura's bizarre devotion to sauce despite every retarded thing he's done has by far made her love for him seemingly stronger than most others in this series. There's alot of pannels of it too. Go tumblr that shit. The SasuSaku fans have made billions of collages for that.
So what manga do I read now to fill the Thursday void. Bleach goes by in a matter of seconds, hardly keeping me entertained.
NarutoxHinata became kind of obvious during the pain arc. Naruto going ballistic batshit crazy when Hinata was rekt'd by Pain after she confessed was probably the angriest we ever saw him in the manga. The hand holding towards the end of the war arc pretty much confirmed it.
I really need to sit down and really try to read One Piece. I've tried multiple times now because I always hear nothing but good things about the story, but the artwork is so hard to overcome.
I tried really hard to get into one piece it just didn't grab me. I find fairy tail more enjoyable
Now that it's actually over, is it worth reading from start to finish? Only super long Magna I've done are Ippo and Kenichi.
With something as long as this though, I'd just burn through the manga as quick as possible vs watching all the anime
