21 my ass!
Late, but Kakashi vs Obito was a terrible fight. In fact any war arc fight was pretty terrible for many reasons.
Madara vs Edo Tensei Harashima was ok.
Madara was too god-mode to make any fights going on enjoyable and I guess Kishi couldn't find a meaningful way to weaken him enough for Sauce/Naruto to credibly pose a challenge so the Black Zetsu asspull was as good as we could get. The final arc's fights suffered tremendously as a result. Was no fun watching Madara roflstomp the already taxed opposition over and over again.
The Kakashi vs. Obito fistfight was badass. I love actual hand to hand combat. I know its expensive as fuck to animate, but its a lost art in this age of explosions and colors.
I forgot how they accidentally spoilered Madara's rinnegan lol.
Never noticed until you mentioned it. 3:45 lol
Poor exploding tag guy.
I'm surprised more people haven't said Jiraiya vs Pain
I've always felt it could have been a lot better and both the manga and anime off screened a good portion of it.
Lee vs Gaara was the truth.
Minato smashing a Rasengan into Obito's back was amazing too.
Was my understanding too. In the manga the coffin slides open and nothing happens, but in the anime they show it like Hiruzen was able to send the coffin back down.
I meant during the series.
The Flying Thundergod is instantaneous and works over giant distances as a space-time jutsu. Naruto was fast enough in cloak formed that he looked just like Minato (a "yellow flash") but I highly doubt he was moving at instantaneous speeds.
In the manga, the third coffin doesn't seem to come up at all.

Assuming the translation is correct, the 3rd believes he stopped it. Then, way later in the manga, when Kabuto is explaining how to perform Edo Tensai, he mentions why the third coffin didn't work for Orochimaru.
Hiraishin was more or less a summoning jutsu... except Minato could summon him self pretty much on a whim. No matter how fast shunshin is, it doesn't beat Hiraishin's instant transmission.
Damn, Minato was boss.
What bugs me about that fight in a sense, is I know Kishi tried to hid Obito's identity for a bit. But Obito shoul'dve known about the Flying Raijin lol
It is Obito thought, he isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Character wasn't retconned yet.
