And at this point, it'll probably go on until Fall season unless they really stretch things out.

I can't say I dislike this little filler, though. It's less DBZ and more OG Naruto. Hopefully they still manage to sneak some good fights in, since you can probably expect at least one with Gaara.

The filler, despite only beginning to air a couple weeks ago, was probably produced a few months ago right around the time before Naruto was announced to end. I'm sure this is the last of it before they just press on to the finish.

Ok, I forgot if the spinoff was announced for a new series or if it was getting a movie only or something. I remember reading that Kishimoto was "too embarassed" to go into the relationship details in Naruto and was letting the movie handle that for him, or something. So I wasn't sure if a new manga was coming at all.
