What were the abilities of the first Hokage? Just wondering how his clan was as strong as the Uchiha.

Yamato has a lot of his abilities (due to Orochimaru's experiments), so pretty much all that wood shit and being able to restrict demons I'm sure was a major part in it. If I remember right he used his jutsu to basically create Konoha, or at least help start it.

Oh man oh man. Epic chapter. Young First Hokage (Senju Hashirama) looks badass. Also.. Madara really looked like Sasuke a bit in Page 18.

Also, Yamato's are indeed like the First's. He used Mokuton (Wood Release) to create Konoha and also used that Tree of Life-like ability in the episode where he and the Second fought the Third under Orochimaru's control and what not. He's pretty badass. I can't wait to see more about him.

In all honesty, I hope we learn about the Second more too. I love his Suiton (Water Release) jutsus.
