Really? I could've sworn I remember seeing Sasuke still having his sharinnegan somewhere in one of these epilogue/gaiden chapters.

Sasuke still had his Rinnegan eye and I wouldn't doubt Naruto can still activate his Rikudou Sennin mode still. But they both lost their Sun/Moon hands when they fought each other. So that power that allowed Naruto to save Gai and whatever else it could do is probably gone.

Edit: Even without the Rikudou Sennin's powers though, both Naruto and Sasuke where pretty much in league with Hashirama and Madara as far as "power tiers" go

Its why I always like adults in manga as opposed to the whiny children. Naruto, as a kid, had been dreaming for YEARS about making a badass intro and saving people like that. While he accomplished some of it as a kid, none of it had the same impact as seeing a badass adult doing it.

Think back to the shinobi invasion of the sand/sound, and how badass Asuma looked when he saved Shikamaru from those fodder chunin. Naruto just got to do that, and its fucking awesome.
