By far the best AMV I've found done for it too, shows a good amount of random stuff from the show (kinda spoilerish in that you see who joins the crew over the show but meh)

Ok that first link was pretty boring and cheesy until about 2:00, then I started to like it. It seems like every shonen jump anime has the characters using that whole 'I can float when I need to and teleport too' style of fighting, but I don't mind I'm used to it and prefer it because I grew up on DBZ lol. Anyway, I will give it a shot because it looks decent, I still can't stand the drawing of the characters though, it's so childish/goofy. What's with the guy with the huge arms and metal nose, seriously.

When I looked at One Piece pictures/amvs while I was watching Naruto/Bleach, I was like, what the hell is up with that anime, it looks like everyones screaming every second and they look skinny as shit. When I started it though out of curiosity, problems with the drawing style e.t.c. quickly faded as more of the story bloomed. Now when I look at it, I appreciate it's originality and flexibility. Also, the animation in the show can be described as 'more alive' compared to other animes. By 'More Alive', I mean that I feel like it has a lot of activity going on in scenes (for example, Luffy's arm streching).

If you would've probably watched all the main storyline episodes instead of the recent 50, you wouldn't be saying that. The main cast is probably the best aspect of the show story-wise and character wise.

I know that lol, it just reminded me of questions like 'kan Gooku beat Optimoose Primal????"' There really is no real answer to the question it's just funny to try to think about it. I've also never seen one piece so I'll go with Bleach cause they seem to be the fastest overall and I have heard that swords can cut through bodies which sounds lethal. Stuff like Genjitsu may be hard to beat by Bleachies though. Sailor moon would obviously beat everyone of course.

Talking about Usopp, Chopper and Nami (especially the first 2) doing nothing but crying and being useless. Those annoyed me in almost every episode I've seen.

Usopp on the contrary is imo one of the best of the main cast. He has an EXCELLENT VA which puts so much emotion into him, whether it be crying or being the funniest character on the show. I know it might seem annoying to see them appearing as useless and only as a burden to the team while in combat, but without Nami and Chopper the storyline would be radically different, as they are vital to the team. Even though Usopp has no set in stone important purpose like Nami or Chopper (lol sniper/inventor), he definitely fits the role of 'Nakama', comedic relief, and puts a lot of emotion in the show.

I think this thread is slowly evolving into a One Piece thread.

Yeah, you really need to watch more of the anime to be able to have a good understanding of the characters. All 3 of those characters are important in their own way and this is explained. Hell Usopp even had a fairly recent side-arc dealing exactly with this topic.

If by decent, you mean sniper king...I cant really agree it made him better. He is always screaming/crying which annoy me to no end. And sincerely, I dont think watching all 300 episodes (instead of the last 50 + some random episodes) would make me appreciate that kind of character more considering none of my 4 friends who watched the show from the beginning like him.

That's usually true, but in this case it's actually a fairly obvious answer. Shinigami can't be seen or touched by normal humans (i.e. Naruto and Luffy), but they're perfectly capable of hurting them (note the number of blown-up buildings and streets in the average Bleach fight). Even assuming that Naruto and Luffy could see them, Shinigami can fly.

I just like the variety in each character. People complain about luffy's stretching for some reason, but at least not every single character is stretching and such. Each and every characters abilities are VASTLY different, naruto and bleach don't come close to that. You can say everyone has different bloodlines or ninjutsu, or different bankai's, but it's still not like onepiece. There is a reason One Piece is more popular than both bleach and naruto.
