Naruto's chakra is of the wind element and Asuma says it is "very rare" Asuma is a Sarutobi and I believe all Hokages have a blood connection to another hokage. Also, the "king" of the chess game talked about between Asuma and Shikamaru, I believe it to be Naruto, I could be wrong but that's what I'm going for atm.

I think the real question(s) is what was orochimaru doing with/to him in the first place? And what does Sasuke gain from releasing him? The dude must have some pretty badass powers if Sasuke is willing to free him, and i guess team up with him. Another Uchiha would make some sense but I think it's another new ninja with a new wtf power.

It can't be a Kimimaro clone, Orochimaru said that that bone blood line trait was better than the Sharigan. He would have just used the clone to body switch. At least i think i remember him saying something like that.

Ya know, I think you might be right. There are 9 "tailed" beasts that the akatsuki are after, and there are only 7? 8? akatsuki (obviously less now) and each one had to capture one beast. Would explain why Sasuke would want to save him too.

I don't think Sasuke is that soft, gotta be some kind of little secret agenda to the rescue. Maybe using that other guy, assuming he's a demon container, to 'lure' Itachi so he can finally have his little showdown. Or something along those lines. Though he could've done that just by staying with Naruto since he said he wasn't going to kill him to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan. I believe Kisame and Itachi are the ones that are supposed to deal with Naruto anyway.

Meh, I dunno. Just get to keep readin' the mangas to see what's up.
