Don't get why Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha, the Third Hokage himself tried everything he could to stop Danzou and the others. I guess it's good for keeping the story fresh, author probably doesn't wanna end it cleanly and just keep things going indefinitly. Not a bad thing necessarily :/

And holy shit. Naruto was already way behind Sasuke before he got Mangekyo. Now he has these new super eyes to deal with.

Either way, I could see it ending one of two ways. One is Sasuke, the heir of Uchiha versus the new Hokage, Naruto in a rematch to end all rematches at the Valley of the End. RAAAAWR. One of em dies, then we go to the happy endings.

Another way is Sasuke is married to some random chick with baby Uchiha bastards running around, and Naruto is the Hokage. They go to the VotE to spar! The series ends there. Yeah!

Okay no. I don't really give two shits of how the series ends to be honest. I just hope it's not with Sasuke/Naruto final battle. That'd be such a lame copout.

Yeah, agreed with the above poster. I mean.. Sasuke has his super-strong team, Madara as an "ally" of sorts I guess you could say since he did give Sasuke his new resolve, and the Mangekyou. What does Naruto have? A pumped up Rasengan, the team he's apart of that doesn't match Sasuke's team strength even closely, and a Kyuubi he can't control. I assume when he learns of Jiraiya's death to the hands of Akatsuki, he'll go crazy and we may see the fifth tail, but he nearly died from just four. I don't think that's very fair. I understand that characters in these mangas get powerups, but where's Naruto's? You know, the main character. D:

Anyway, I'm just super bleh at the manga right now. Wake me up when it sucks less.

I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch to say that Sasuke is stronger than Tsunade now.

Madara, Pein, Sasuke. Plant-dude and Kisame too, plus Sasuke's team. That's a stacked fuckin' lineup- Pein alone is ridiculous. Konoha is looking scrappy lately; Kishi needs to let Kakashi have a powerup/show some skills, because as far as elites go, all Konoha has is Tsunade and Kakashi, and to a lesser extent Gai, Yamato. Not sure where Danzou fits in. Tons of potential in others, but all talk no walk for most of them- in part because Kishi refuses to diversify their abilities, I think.

But yeah, Sasuke is ignoring Itachi's wishes, becoming a war-mongering Uchiha pawn, AND basically avenging Orochimaru. Not to mention he rediscovered why bonds of friendship/love were meaningful, which means he should realize how he fucked things up with Naruto/Sakura/Kakashi. And that the only way for him to surpass Itachi, which was also Itachi's wish, is to be able to set things right without getting himself killed, so attacking konoha in some backhanded attempt to finally eliminate Uchiha is weaksauce if that's the intention.

More like Konoha gets taken to the brink of destruction and at the end is a Naruto v Sasuke battle that ends up with Naruto going into full blown nine-tails and Sasuke uses his god-mode eyes with his deus ex machina jutsu to control Naruto. Then we'll go into a "mind" sequence where they have tons of flash backs and emo moments while having a mental/will power fight, where in the end Naruto over comes Sasuke (or Naruto convinces Sasuke to stop and come back to his friends and rebuild Konoha). Somehow during this the nine-tails gets banished due to some Sasuke deus ex machina/god eyes jutsu.

I predict 2-3 manga of just flash backs and emo moments during the mental/willpower fight. Most of this will be rehash from the very first mangas. At least 1 whole manga of this will be entirely old material.

Then Naruto and Sasuke team up to take out all of Sasuke's old friends who are attacking Konoha. They save they day and Naruto becomes Hokage.

Sasuke has very high skill in almost everything. He can do everything Naruto can, only better. If it came down to a "real" 1-on-1 ninja fight without the use of Naruto's Kyuubi or Sasuke's Sharingan, Sasuke would win easily. He's better than Naruto at taijutsu, ninjutsu and genjutsu.

Naruto is good in short bursts and doesn't really use any tactics. Unless using his shadow clones counts. He's done some decent stuff with those throughout the manga for sure.

Maybe it will unlock the "Memories of the 4th" and just give him his expertise/skills or whatever. Fuck if I know, but we're all getting a little ahead of ourselves.
