i think sasuke is pissed at the village for making itachi go through what he did.

isn't this the obvious reason for why sasuke wants to destory konoha? why is everyone pondering on why sasuke should respect itachi's wishes on keeping peace in konoha and saying shit like sasuke's retarded for wanting to attack the village? and seriously, the people that thought orochi's death is what activated sasuke's mangekyo... seriously? what the hell made you think that? lol

The point was he needed oro out first before it could happen. He was the "closest thing to him" that needs to be removed in order to be -able- to unlock mangek. And yeah, it's the only reason that would make sense, although its fucking stupid bad writing and hey, entire village != 3-5 people.

Bad, manga is bad. Write it better. It's becomming pretty predictable lately. And really sasuke may be strong as fuck but when naruto gets released he is pretty insane. I don't think hes all that weak, but outside that form, well obviously he'll always need work. Thats what the manga is freaking about I mean come on, do you really expect anything else? lol. Kakashi said he's pretty fucking strong himself so there is always potential. I still think there is alot more to naruto then we know, they gave sasuke a powerboost and such, so i'm sure naruto is going to get one now so that the manga isn't boring and the fights are matched better. Naruto will get the key and learn teleportation or something and we can have a teleport-rasengan on pain/madara at the cell games... i mean at the valley of the end.

There's a big plot twist coming soon when Sasuke incinerates Sakura with his Amaterasu.

Honestly though, I still think that there is going to be a Sasuke vs. Pein fight. His newfound eyes vs. Pein's godmode ones.

I really hoping they would wrap up Sasuke's story and have him return to being an important supporting character.

My ideal turn of events:

Sasuke peacefully returns to Konoha to tell the truth. They have to deal with Danzo and his ROOT, where Sai makes the choice to side with good guys. The truth is revealed, but then Madara attacks Konoha using Sasuke and incriminates him as still being a traitor, so he has to flee with his team. Naruto and friends helps, but they get punished for doing so and can't go on official sanctioned missions. Both situations weakens Konoha, so Village in the Rain(under Pain) declares war on Konoha(Danzo's plan all along!). The series continues and ends with the group(all of the konoha classmates + sasuke's team) unofficially trying to end or prevent the war by taking out Madara and Pain. Orochimaru shows up again as a jackass third party. Kakashi/Yamato/etc can't help them directly, but they exchange information and such.

LOL, so true. The minute I read that I had this strong mental image of a half-Cell and a Goku behind him. I miss DBZ, that shit was good no matter how you break it, I even watched it all in english and I still enjoyed it a lot. Was it the first Shonen Manga/Anime or was there something before it which it also copied?

Well, even if it he just went for Danzou and the other elders, they can pretty much spin it as an attack on Konoha given their position. At that point, no real sense telling your team you're just fighting a couple guys because everything will be okay. And even if Tsunade were to agree with reasoning behind him going after them, as the Hokage, she can't really sit there and let outsiders kill people of the Leaf, either. I actually think he's kind of imitating Itachi in playing the bad guy in order to do some good, hence the tears. He probably figures Itachi wouldn't have wanted him to take a similar path just to quell the corruption up in Konoha's ranks.

It's kind of hard to see where Akatsuki even fits in now. Would Sasuke let Naruto die so they could complete whatever they were making knowing he might not stand a chance against it? Let's say Sasuke does succeed in his attack on Konoha, Tsunade dies to Madara, and Naruto learns about Jaraiya. Does what's left of the village focus on Sasuke or Pein?

I dunno, far as Sai goes, I think he's already given up on Danzou. Remember he requested to stay with Naruto despite his mission being completed, so he's been learning more about the outside and probably came to the realization he was being used to a point beyond that of other ninja. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he kills him himself or lets him die when Sasuke's team starts their thing. Lends itself to the theoretical reuniting with his "brother" too.

I am really enjoying the Fillers, its a nice break from knowing the predictable.
