When was this said to happen? And how are these "spoilers" coming out when the manga isn't even hinting at any such things going to happen? Not saying they might not be true, just strikes me as odd.

They should rename the manga, "Sasuke!" Because, thats all this series is about. Everything revolves around Sasuke and him becoming more and more powerful. Now they're setting up the series for Naruto to lose the nine-tails and for Sasuke to have it?

If this series was really about Naruto he wouldn't lose the kyuubi and he wouldn't be such a push over.

Assuming Pain could somehow read someone's memory and shape his bodies to people his opponent has fought before or something (which is what I think he can do, why else would he have specific bodies that Jiraiya fought?), who would the bodies be for Naruto?

Then again, having to fight Jiraiya would probably be enough of a mind fuck to mess with him anyway, but I really can't remember anyone else from the series that's died other than Haku and Zabuza. Maybe Asuma? The Third? The Fourth? Not like Naruto knows he's his son anyway, if I remember right.

And yeah. The spoilers you guys are reading about Sasuke invading during Jiraiya's funeral and with the seal on Sasuke are fakes. The real ones are out now though.

Also, I think Pain did actually know Jiraiya..which is why he was able to use that body and such. >.> He looks like he has the same bodies no matter what.

Knowing him when Pain was a kid, in a different body, leads him to knowing people that Jiraiya fought? It's obvious that he learned how to have multiple bodies or whatever after Jiraiya left him, considering he thought it was that other kid based on the hair, and realized it wasn't when he saw the eyes.

Jiraiya will definetaly be one of the bodies used, along with the third hokage, did naruto know what the fourth hokage looked like? I think for some reason that pein will use Itachi as one of the bodies(or sasuke), what would even be better though, would be for kakashi to fight Pein, cause we could see some badass people from kakashi's history and learn more about him, considering him being the "copy ninja", knowing over a thousand jutsu, it'd be interesting to see who the bodies were.

Hmm, I dunno. The fact he can use an ability like that would make me think Kishimoto would intend to use it for more than just random people from Jiraiya's past, and not just random coincidence. Guess we'll see though, I know I'd be pleasantly surprised if it ended up similar to what my speculation is.
