Strongly believe that Sora does have a demon in him just like Naruto (His being Wind, Naruto's Fire, Gaara's Sand/Earth, and who knows about Doc Ock, here... prolly water). In the manga, it was relatively vague about the person they killed at the Fire Temple, I believe with the Akatsuki saying he was basically a friendless nobody (Which basically describes Sora's situation until Naruto showed up). Meanwhile, the filler's just been fleshing out Asuma a bit more before his upcoming 'incident' while potentially offering a bit more drama/development for Naruto once he learns of the situation.

And this new Jinchuriki(whatever) is an 8-Tailed Snake, at least in the actual mythology it is.

The 8 tailed snake in the mythology was what came out of Sasuke during his fight with Itachi so I don't think they'll be reusing that again. That snake also fought against Susanoo in another mytho, I guess thats why he chose to use it there instead of keep it in line with the other tailed beasts.

Yeah I was confused when people said snake. Since when do mangas follow any sort of mythology or stick to anything. The scene looks like water, those look like suction cups......... not a snake. We have snakes in the manga, they can only reuse the idea so many times. Plus the first pic where it's all black with the white eye showing, I can imagine that turning into an octopus, but a snake, I don't see that happening.

Who cares what it is, the important thing is that this guy seems to have alot of control over it. That scene is him training, ie., this guy is gonna fuck some shit up. But sasauke will have this new random octopus-water-killing justsu that he uses and just pull a win out of his ass cause hes the favorite in the manga,

Something else I noticed about this guy is, do you think he's blind? Sure they never show his eyes, but just that one line he says makes me feel weird "The sun's killer on my eyes" so that would also mean none of sasuke's eye techniques would work against him which would awesome be a twist.

edit: anyone else think that the page numbers in jiraiya's book are about the fights that he had with these 6 people that are pain and will show naruto and the others that one of each of the pains each excel in a different category and will reaserch the nin's and find out which is which
