I doubt he'd really die or anything like that. It's just a sense of dying so he can become one with the nature around him and be reborn again. Sort of like when someone is a "born again Christian" and such. Hate to use a religious analogy here, but that was the only thing I can think of after just waking up.

Ya I don't think he'll really die, just maybe get really close to dieing or "die" as in leave everything behind and become just a part of nature and let your "self" die in order to get closer to nature or whatever, some crap like that.

I've been hoping the key unlocks more than just more tails or controlling the kyuubi and actualy unlocks not only abilities possibly stored within him, but a bloodline limit. I know it's far fetched and his character has been developed around him being weak, and without a bloodline, and having to make up for it or overcome others without one... but shit that would be sick. I'd love to see teleportations and all that crap, mainly because i need something different then clones.

The reason he was always weak was because of the Kyuubi fucking with his chakra control, so there's really no reason for that to still be around. As he progresses he should start catching up faster as he gets everything under control reacting to the Kyuubi's chakra which he has been aware of for a while now.

Of course, this is canon and they might just keep him dumb, stupid and "weak" until the final two chapters of a major boss fight and have him pull rasengan out of his ass and win repeatedly...

We are looking into this. Accusations have been made that, if true, would be enough to make us think twice about using their scans. Problem is, they are only one of two groups doing speed scans for Naruto and other popular titles, and the only group "allowing" their scans to be shared freely. Of course, this is assuming everything we are hearing is true. Since we don't know all the details yet, I don't want to jump to too many conclusions. But recent developments in the fan scanlator community does give me reason for concern.

Probably that half of their translations are either wrong, just inaccurate, or WAY off. There is a reason they do "speed scans" and get them out earlier then most other translations. I've always just done my own translations or have a friend do them for me/with me, but after looking at some of theirs, it's almost as if some lines are just made up.

Uh.. on manga helpers where a lot of people who do the translations there, the text there matches the text the chapter on onemanga uses. I don't think they literally meant "die"... just figuratively speaking.

I don't really care about the translations too much. As long as they are semi-right. It's different than with anime for me.

it didn't mention naruto "dieing" when jiraiya used the key to crack the seal just a tiny bit when he unleashed the 4 tail form, i think that would have been a big thing to mention.

I'm wondering if the key will just let Naruto be rid of the nine-tails when he's strong enough to fight it. It's evident it has some semblance of intelligence, and if its jailer willingly released it with the thing knowing it could be recaptured, I wonder if it'd behave.

Oh well, we'll see what happens sooner than later hopefully.

He was weak before he even made genin. He was a horrible ninja at the academy because he was incapable of focusing, due to the Kyuubi's chakra making him unstable. Sure, he got things a little under control and Orochimaru fucked it up for a bit, but originally he was unstable and it hindered him purely through the existance of the Kyuubi.
