After watching Bleach, Naruto doesn't tickle my fancy as much. Don't get me wrong, I still watch it and enjoy it but Blecah is just exponentially better in almost all aspects.

I watched Naruto, then watched Bleach afterwards, and I can say that I actually don't like Bleach more than Naruto. The characters in Naruto have more background and more meaning to them, compared to the ones in Bleach. The fight scenes and stuff may look cooler in Bleach than in Naruto, but in the end, the fights in Bleach are pretty bland compared to the ones in Naruto. In Bleach, it's pretty much, slice dice, Shikai, Bankai... Then whoever is stronger in the end wins and it's as simple as that. In Naruto there's tons of different techniques and aspects to the fight along with strategy, the outcome doesn't depend on who's stronger but who's a smarter and better ninja that knows his own capabilities and how to take advantage of and analyze a fight.

At least that's how it felt to me, watchin Bleach never ever got me thinkin as much as Naruto during the fights. In Naruto you think why, how, when? And it amazes you when you figure it out in the end. Bleach is like, Ok, so this dude just owned this other guy cuz he's super strong... Sweet.

Agreed. I like both, but Naruto characters have a lot more backround and the fighting style is a lot more involved. In Bleach 99.9% of the time whoever has the most reiatsu will win. I watch them both weekly though. Bleach also has less "story" at least so far there isn't much story involved in the fights, just people attacking others. In Naruto is far more involved and there are actual politics and such people follow. In Bleach there's 4 groups (SS, Arrancar, Vizard, Ichigo) and basically it's 2 good, 2 bad and there is no love between any of them, just fight fight fight. By 121 episodes of Naruto there was already a large-scale war, so far in Bleach it's just a small rebel group acting. I could continue on a bit more but I'm sure it's pointless.

I don't even notice much animation differences, like I can see last Bleach was well-done (only after everyone was talking about it), but I don't notice at all that Naruto's is "bad".

Shippuuden was a nice upgrade from the old style though. It looks to me as if the characters are drawn a bit smoother with better lines. And the characters do look a lot cooler as well. The first portion of the first ep of Shippuuden looked awesome though. As long as the character designs are done well, it's all good to me.

It's kind of funny with Chiyo rushing Kakashi like that. The anime didn't do Kakashi Gaiden, so no one knows Kakashi's past. I think everyone should go read manga chapters 239-244 (I think those are it) that gives you a story about Kakashi's past.

Honestly it's disgusting that with all the time they had with fillers they didn't even do Kakashi Gaiden. I mean, the fuck else would you expect?

They are probably saving it for when they start getting close to the manga. As long as they don't throw in random filler again, I won't mind them doing that. I want to see the Kakashi Gaiden in anime form soon though. ; ;
