It really would anger me. There's no real gain story-wise to killing her, as no one really appreciates her in the Narutoverse. I'm pretty sure killing Sakura would have a greater effect on Naruto while also going over better with fans, so yeah lol. Originally Posted by Kiro

I've forgotten most of the fights from when I read them in the manga so I was on my toes most of the fight despite knowing Asuma would die. Really good episode, going to reread the manga, I could have sworn Naruto showed up and fought the multiple hearts guy or whatever but I am probably missing something.

You didn't miss much in early Shippuden. Not sure about after Naruto and Sasuke meet until the last two episodes though. But 78-79 was good. Maybe only because the staring and slowness fit with the mood this time around when it's usually boring. Originally Posted by Kiro

That immortal guy loves to talk about penises. Every time he says something it's like eat a dick to his friend or calling someone a dick. Japanese are perverted.
This fight reminds us of how badass shikimaru can be. If they can somehow give him more parts in the manga without making him like sasuke where everything is about him then they should. A good team for whatever comes next should be shikimaru naruto the bug guy and gai.
