I still think the end fight for the series will be won with his shadow clones. It's the technique he's had from the begining and he has down the best. It's also the technique he is best suited for with his mass amount of chakra. I don't see him winning with a ranged rasengan/wind shuriken with extra sage sauce, as much as I see him getting up from being almost unconscious and still popping out 100+ clones.


He also needs to do a mass harem technique.

Well, considering he trains with like 1000 at once lol, he could literally have an army attack 1 person. Most likely will have to fight pain in this way, having 6+ out for all of the bodies, that way he can't see where each attack is coming from, idk...

My bad on the Naruto Fusion shit, I knew that Ma and Pa said that but I have a feeling Naruto will be stubborn and try to do the Sage Technique on his own. Especially with having all of Konoha helping defend him and the city. This should give him enough time, or possibly Ma and Pa dieing in this fight and Naruto having to do Sage on his own?

Pain can summon anything at will basically in matter of seconds, like he did while fighting jirarya with a giant lizard. naruto's clones won't stand a chance at all should he do so again.

Only one body can summon, and chances are Naruto will go up against the body that seems to be the "main" body (not the summoning body), the one that Kakashi is getting thrown around by.

Perhaps, but something's telling me that pain won't be arrogant enough to take on naruto with just one body. of course, there's always the chance that the other 6 bodies are tied up fighting other ninjas defending the village.

Naruto hasn't summoned that big red frog in awhile. We may see him soon. With sage mode recovering his chakra and making him stronger he is able to use more jutsu's. Like his new rasagan. It was strong enough to kill Hidan or the other guy it should be able to hurt pain.

I'm not trying to insult you or start a little bitchfest or anything, but how anyone would ever expect anything but individual Pain bodies to be tied up in a fight, I have no clue. That's almost certain of what's going to happen. Pain is interested in doing as much damage as he can, he split himself, or whatever the fuck he is, up for a reason, and that's to cause some PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grawghhhhhhhhhhhh

It has nothing to do with gaining knowledge or experience. I was thinking more along the line of them yelling at him to watch out.

We still have no idea of the extent that the sage training has furthered Naruto's training. I just hope for a quick defeat of Pain while explaining his abilities. But we all know it will drag out to like a 8 week series and then they finally get the information to Naruto and he does one and that would be the spirit bomb and then Freeza, Pain, gets away and his cool brother Coola, Madara, tries to clean up his mess.

I'm happy someone said this. This is the same guy who ended a civil war BY HIMSELF, single-handedly defeated the man who bested Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade at the same time, and was doing fucking flips and poses on arguably the strongest sannin alive. He beat Jiraiya without using a single ninjutsu. We haven't even seen the full extent of the Rinnengan, or Pein use any elemental jutsu, let alone the mysterious sixth element.

Naruto and Konoha are going to need some fucking dragonballs if they want to defeat this monster.

edit: And the real Pein isn't even amongst the six attacking Konoha now. Yeaaaaah....

Somehow, for whatever reason, and I honestly don't know why, but I keep thinking that the "real" Pain is probably some paraplegic that's able to control all these bodies with his mind. Has something like that been done before, in anything? Why do I keep getting that idea?

I realize that, and also the fact that all the other bodies are just distractions. As kakeshi already pointed out, all the damage he's doing is an attempt to draw Naruto out from his training. He's there for Naruto and i won't be surprised if he recalls all the bodies once Naruto shows up. In my opinion, it's an extraction mission more than anything. But we can both agree that his plan will probably go awry and end up losing a couple bodies here and there.

Yea, he did. And Pain took him out as though it was child's play. It's hard to gauge how powerful pain is, but i am sure we will find out as soon as he fights kakeshi to some extend.
