Some super ninja with the name that starts with an H and is in other ninja stories that I'm blanking on. Then Pain beat that guy. Was it actually stated Pain beat him easily?

But that was before Oro/Tsunade/Jiraiya got most of the abilities we've seen them use. Though they were still good back then.

It did say Pain killed Hazou and everyone who was associated with him, such as his wife, kids, the village. I think it implies that Pain was and still probably is unstoppable.

well, i'm sure most of his relatives werent half as strong as the guy. hell, most of hid relatives could have not even been ninja.
and saying someone in an anime/manga is unstoppable is stupid cause someone's gonna stop him lol.

I mean he did just march into Konoah (the most developed/protected ninja village) without any backup and attempt to kidnap the most powerful tail beast there is. He's either stupid or so insanely powerful that he knows he has a reasonable chance of success. I am inclined to think it's the latter. Given what's known, it's safe to assume that he's unstoppable, in relative terms. Of course, that doesn't preclude the possibility that someone will become more powerful than he is later.

I think pain will defeat naruto and bring him back to their cave. At the same time sasuke heads to the village. Sasuke was looking forward to fighting naruto. He is pissed for naruto being defeated by anyone but himself. Then sasuke has a vision of his brother telling him to save naruto before its too late. Then sasuke stops being emo for 5mins and kicks ass and saves naruto. Then naruto + sasuke + team hawk kill madara and pain. The End

I would guess Madara is stronger than Pein. I doubt Pein would take orders from someone he could kill. Madara has that combined sharigan which he hasn't even used yet in the manga.

Okay, Madara might be stronger then pein for the fact that you can't even land a hit on him. It might not even be hard for madara to trap all copies of pein into a genjutsu. Itatchi didn't even need you too look into his eyes to trap you so I'm sure madara got some tricks up his sleeves.

I figured Madara would be stronger than Pein based on the chain of command going on, but its possible Madara is just necessary to complete their plan and therefore people listen to him.
