Well, Yamato does have the First's DNA, so I'm sure he's pretty damn capable. Personally, I'm waiting for a Neji appearance. He's always been one of my favorite characters overall, right behind Shikamaru.

I doubt that Kakashi is dead. They might still kill him, but from what I remember from previous important deaths in this series is that the actual death is never a cliffhanger, the person usually dies about halfway through the chapter. The first couple of pages of next week's chapter will probably see Kakashi getting out of this, although its still no guarantee he'll make it through this arc in one piece.
I have to agree on the Neji thing. He is definitely my favorite character behind Shikamaru. He's pretty much the poster child for Badassery in Konoha. More so than even Sasuke (when he isn't being an emofag).
But we all know they wouldn't take Kakashi out like this. He either did some Mangekyou shenanigans, was a clone / kawarimi, or someone will come block the attack.
Or, honestly, the way that last frame looked, he might have just blocked it with his headband. I dunno. But chances are someone threw a shuriken or kunai to intercept the nail. That someone most likely being Tenten, since she's got an aimbot when it comes to that shit.
He did use half his chakra to make the lightning clone, and he's done 4 Raikiri's so far (counting Raikiri-dog), (1st one w/ Doton Dog Wall, 2nd one with Raikiri-dog, 3rd one that missed Demon Realm, 4th one that hit Demon Realm who came to chained-up Pain's rescue) and he's also done Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu, taken a huge beating from pain's repulsions.
If Kakashi is able to Kamui (which he can do up to 3 times in 1 day but become critically fatigued in doing 3 in one day (note fight vs Deidara)), then ill be surprized. W/ Kamui he could suck it into another dimension (like Deidara's C-O clay bomb). If he can suck in a giant explosion, then easily can Kamui a nail, but that's if he has the chakra.
If Lightning Clone zaps half chakra, then that's 2 uses per day.
If he pulled off 4 Raikiri's in the Pain fight so far, then that's 4 or more uses per day.
If he can use 3 Kamui's vs. Deidara but fatigue himself drastically, then i'd say (2-3 uses per day).
So far he's pulled off 4 Raikiri, and 1 Lightning Clone, so imma say each Raikiri now takes away 12% of his overall chakra reserves, (since Lightning Clone took 50%).
Being able to do only 3 Kamui per day meant that took away 33% of his chakra reserves,
and we already know Lightning Clone takes away 50% of his chakra reserves.
So he's used up approximately 98% of his chakra reserves not enough to use a Kamui if im not mistaken, BUT we're all forgetting something here...Kakashi says this on 422:
Spoiler: show
So I wouldn't say it's over til we see next weeks first panels. I cant think of whatelse Kakashi can mean by Storing Chakra anyways lol. Unless they mistranslated it, and he meant "hide" like hide it from pain's Rinengan.
Other than that, Imma go with the Tenten aiming her weapon to block it, OR Guy comming in to kick it away with Dainamikku Entorii!!, OR Kakashi deflects it with his headband.
Anyways, idk why the author skips the whole part between Kakashi Raikiring Demon Realm and him being trapped in debris...
I'm assuming Pain somehow deflected the Raikiri with his gravity bullshit into the ground or into some buildings, because a few panels before Kakashi being trapped under debris, there was a shot of a bunch of houses/buildings falling.
Leaning toward Gai or one of the slugs intercepting, even. Though, gonna read a HQ version just to see if things come out slightly different in writing.
Lightning clone didn't take 50% all his raikiri's + jutsus + lightning clone up to the point he said he was at 50% took him to 50%.
Gai coming in would be cool, although I would expect Gai to die in that case since he'd probably have to use 8 gates.
Rather see Gai die then Kakashi, but honestly don't want either to die.
Pein made a note to keep his distance from kakashi just incase when he picked up that nail off the ground, so it is possible kakashi has something left. Dying would not be cool, not at all. IT WOULD BE ALL THAT FAGGOT DANZO'S FAULT
Honestly doubt Kakashi will die from Pein shooting a nail at his head. Seriously, if Kishi wants to kill him off, at least give him a decent death.
You saw what they did for Asuma. Imagine IF Kakashi dies, that'd be quite a few fucking episodes.
The complete lack of responses about this week's anime definitely make sense, just watched it and the episode was more of setting up next week's.Oh well, I hope it is good. >.>
Good point. I just have a habit of downloading and watching it Thursday nights.
Even though it would be cool for Gai to save Kakashi I would rather it be Neji if someone does indeed save him. Although both of them would be pretty sweet too.
Epic fight about to be animated next week.
i actually enjoy watching my weekly Blech/Naruto episode while eating a pizza or drinking a beer more then reading the mangas...
I also dont care about fillers as the content that everyone is waiting for will come anyways regardles if there are fillers between or not.
It feels like most ppl want to see the end of Naruto/Bleach and then QQ about why its already over
im not sure what it is about any mangas but when i read them it just seems extremely plain. however reading a book kicks my brain into gear. maybe cause i've been stuck on anime of like 9 years now
When Kakashi last used MS against Deidara, he also used it like 4 different times in a row. I'm sure he could pump it out at least once.Originally Posted by Pooky
But yeah, crazy ending. Stoked for next week!
Also, this weeks anime episode was actually worth watching. It was fucking amazing.
