This may be really super lame and be a setup for a spinoff manga for Shikamaru's team. Asuma dies to strengthen Shikamaru, Kakashi and his father die to strengthen Chouji, they've been showing Ino a fair bit (though not doing anything...just there) and she may step up and have something happen to her soon. Then they can make a manga on the adventures of that team...

kakashi wont die, it seems like too much of a lame way for him to be killed off. i think he just means after teleporting the missle he is gonna have no energy to even move so he is as good as dead. at which point someone or something will step in to save him.
