I'm a bit torn about Kakashi's current situation. As much as I don't want to see him die, if there's some bullshit excuse for him suddenly coming back to life, considering he's in some sort of afterlife with his dad, I'd be disappointed as well. Then again, didn't Kishimoto in an interview earlier this year say that something significant was going to happen to Kakashi? Death is pretty significant, but to me that sounds like something a bit more epic than dying because he ran out of chakra.

Anime this week really got me pumped for the hour long special on Dec 4th, great episode. I forgot the rest of the fight besides Spirit Bomb Naruto so I'll be on the edge of my seat I bet.

Best anime episode in a long time. great animation and fight scenes. this ep proves why kakashi shouldn't die- too fucking badass (same with shikamaru, who always deserves more page/screen time).

Hidan, with Naruto/Yamato/Sakura/Sai showing up right before Shikamaru blows up Hidan with Shadow Endgame Technique => lighting paper bombs over hole (this will happen in the middle of the episode on Dec. 4th...the episode that Naruto uses the 50% Fuuton: Rasenshuriken though shows up here:

During on Dec. 4th, it will show Naruto and Yamato entering the scene to stop Kakuzu from using his wind+fire combo jutsu on a tangled Kakashi/Ino/Choji (after Kakuzu realizes that Shikamaru's capsule plan was carried out and destroyed one of Kakuzu's hearts). They'll appear epically using Suiton: Hahonryu and Fuuton: Rasengan (simple wind-rasengan combo, not even the 50% one that he uses to kill Kakuzu) which will combine to make the Gufuu Suika No Jutsu (Hurricane Whirlpool) to fully nullify Kauzu's attack.

Also anyone notice that they added some fight scenes in this episode that werent in the manga lol? I was like wtf the whole time, wondering how they did that, when it wasn't even in the manga...I HOPE they show how Kakashi/Choji/Choza get beaten up by Pain in later anime episodes (i.e. when Kakashi gets clumped into the pile of rubble trap w/o us knowing how)

The anime draws out/adds more to a lot of fight scenes from the manga. This is nothing new.

Anyways, really good anime episode. Really showed how awesome Kakuzu/Hidan work as a team even though they despise each other.

Naruto's been dragging this shit on so long I don't really remember a majority of the characters or why I care whether they live or die anymore. Kakashi, check. Naruto, check. But who's that? And who the fuck is that?. I suddenly feel like I have to read the last 20 chapters all over again just to keep track of every single loose thread in this series.
