Yeah thats what i dont like about "official" subs. sometimes they seem really awkward because they try to hard to give a word for word exact translation and it just ends up sounding dumb. fansubs are much more relaxed

I dunno if anyone has brought this up yet about Konohamaru showing up in the manga, but I'm gonna take a guess and assume that he probably knows where Naruto is somehow. So if one of Pein's dudes gets a hold of him, lolol dead kid + Naruto's location.

Yes he wore those same clothes in shippuden episodes when they fought the zombies in the Sora Filler Arc (recently). In Part I Naruto, he only wears the black underclothes (u can see Kakashi wears them too, when he narrowly escapes Hidan/Kakuzu's combo wind attack in the recent episodes), the Jonin Uniform is the extra clothing ontop of it.

The week wait is lame, Dattebayo subs it really fast. >.> I know I already wait a week for each new episode, I guess I would just have to wait 1 week, and pretend the japanese release was that week, or hope someone else continues subbing it.

I don't know if anyone outwardly said it but you won't have to wait a week. If you want to pay. I think they'll do something like speedsub it for next day release to watch on the website if you pay the subscription. 1 week after release it's free to public.

And like it's been stated I'm praying they don't do literal translation and also hoping they don't try to change cultural things. I hate that shit, no reason to take out JP culture from anime just because they don't think the fans will understand it.

Also Konohomaru dieing instead of kakashi, yes please. I would be happy.

I just 'read' the raw version that's up. my japanese sucks so i dont really know what what they said exactly but:

ebisu is getting beaten up by pein, konohamaru is hiding around the corner
ebisu is saying he wont tell him where naruto is, and is recalling memories about how naruto has grown over the years and how he has earnt the respect of the village
it looks like he is about to be killed when konohamaru steps out and grabs piens attention shouting
