Has anyone pictures what it's gonna be like when Naruto actually does face Pein? He's gonna get ROCKED so hard, rofl. Unless his sage training really is something insane. I'm not expecting him to be anywhere near where Jiraiya was, mainly 'cause of battle experience, but still.. Naruto is gonna get his ass kicked.

But of course when that happens the Kyuubi pops up, and I have a feeling when that happens Pein is just gonna be all, "oh hi thar /yoink".

I highly doubt Naruto will get rocked by Pain, if anything I hope it will be the opposite.

Naruto rocked J-Man with only 4 tails and we still don't know how strong the Sage Mode with Naruto's chakra is.

And I don't know what you mean with Pein /yoinking the Kyuubi, he will have to knock him out and then they will have to extract it from him. That is with Pain getting away from the whole village at the same time.

We're all underestimating Pein I think. <_< We don't even know if the real Pein is fuckin' around yet. His "minions" have fucking owned basically everyone they've come across so far, AND he's in control of Akatsuki (assuming Madara isn't). So.. yeah, this dude has some serious pull.

Like I said, I think we're all underestimating Pein quite a bit. Then again I'm probably underestimating Naruto a fuckton as well, it's been a while since I've seen him in a fight. So I really don't know what to expect from him at this point.

He has been training for a while to fight Pein (or maybe just Sasuke? I can't even remember why he started his training anymore). If action anime/manga has taught me anything, after training for a while, he will be overpowered.

Naruto's 3year training with jiraiya was to be able to take on akatsuki when they came for him mainly. His training with the frogs is to take on pain. He never specifically trained JUST to rescue sasuke, it was his main goal and objective, and motivation as well, but his trainers were more specific about him being able to defend himself when the time comes... since he's pretty much a nuclear bomb and him getting captured would be a bad thing for the village.

Naruto has been overpowered for a while it seems, pre-frog training I'd imagine he could take on at least 2 bodies by himself, maybe even 3, seeing as how kakashi hyped up naruto's strength at one point and almost took on 2 bodies. Jiraiya was able to take on 6, and almost win, being stated that if he knew the secret, he would have won. Naruto being described as having traits of sannin levels, and the next sannin, pretty sure after the frog training (which he is mastering better than jiraiya, and has more potential in it due to the kyuubi), he'll be able to take on pretty much anyone in the manga at this point. Mainly since the 2 strongest people we've seen up to this point are #1 Pain and #2 Jiraiya, and 4tails-Non-Sage naruto almost killed Jiraiya.

If Jiraiya would have won if he'd known pains secret, then Naurto will definitely win since it seems they've figured it out in the village, they just have to get the message to him. And since naruto will probably be stronger then Jiraiya is very soon, he might not even need the secret and might just vaporize pain.

While Naruto may be stronger he isn't necessarily experienced enough to out perform Jiraiya yet. Jiraiya used various jutsu to ensure an advantage in the Pein fight, he didn't use raw power like Naruto does. From the look of things raw power against Pein is useless. His Nine-tails does give him a large power boost when he brings it out sure, but it's at the cost of being very out of control, which is why he has to learn to fight without the Nine-tails, at least until he becomes better at controlling it (that key Jiraiya gave the frog, WHEN!?!?)

Not for nothing, but since the 3yr time skip, we haven't seen Naruto actually try and use much other than just raw power, He hasn't needed to... and I'm assuming that in those 3yrs, Jiraiya was smart enough to teach him and help him with learning techniques, skills, and strategies in order to prevail like he himself did.

Jiraiya and Kakashi had intelligence as a main factor when fighting, since neither of them were really super strong like Naruto is. I'm giving Naruto the benefit of the doubt that he did learn things like that, and we just haven't had the opportunity to really see it yet. Since the time-skip, most fights still only required brute strength and/or rasengan, or a combination of 1-2 shadow clones and a rasengan.

That's just me hoping though, because one of naruto's main characteristics besides no bloodline (at this point anyway, come on key!) is that he isn't a smart skillful ninja, and one that relies on luck, and a powerboost after being hit with a fatal blow to win fights, determination is his win button... so I guess it would be Anti-plot to give him at least some intelligence in a fight, since in all honesty it would make him probably the strongest character in the manga.

Yahiko knew Tsunade, Oro and Jiraya from when they all met up a long time ago

Yes, but the fact that the body knows her, and said that, is more awesome then her just recognizing the body and saying "yahiko?" or "i know that face!".

The bodies aren't just dolls being controlled, they each have memories and such. It's an interesting type of resurrection that pain uses. It's NOTHING like the resurrection orochimaru used. It's just really cool that they arent just bodies that he puts jutsu's into and throws around.

When Jiraiya first met pain and called him yahiko when he recognized the face, the body said yahiko is dead and that "we" are pain. Well obviously as a pain body he is dead lol, but Jiraiya recognized him first and asked him, whereas this time, the body brings it up to tsunade.

Well he is getting smarter, we will see this coming up very soon in the anime. So giving him some intelligence isn't taboo. But I do agree with most of the raw power parts.

They also effectively hinted at Jiraiya being exactly like Naruto when he was younger (since they drew the similarities between team 7 and the Sannin) and if Jiraiya was young and stupid when he was an early ninja it means there's potential for Naruto to get as smart or smarter than Jiraiya.
