Fuck... I'm of the camp that think Kakashi is dead. I was also one of the ones who didn't think I'd care as much if he died or not, but seriously, what the fuck. This actually bums me out.

Anyway, this does indeed feel like it's the "last stand" of the manga, though how long this actually draws out, who knows. I don't think Naruto is going to get back in time for any of the Pain's still being in the village, Tsunade will probably die (which I truly don't care if she does or doesn't, for what it's worth), and then he'll come back to a village that's in ruins with no Hokage. He'll step up when every other ninja in the village is moping around saying, "What the hell do we do now?" except Danzou, who will try to take over as Hokage like he's always wanted. Elder Frog will be like, "why was there no messenger frog?" and Danzou, in typical cocky badguy fashion will reveal, "ohohoho I killed him, this village is mines!" Probably some shitty battle with Danzou while Naruto goes off to find Pain. Sasuke arrives in Konoha shortly after Naruto leaves, because I'm of the opinion they probably never really will fight. Sasuke's gonna find out what happened, and because he has no intentions of doing anything to Konoha like it's being suggested, he'll rush off to find Naruto. Sasuke will tell him where Akatsuki is, they go together, then the obvious 1v1 fights with Naruto v. Pain, Sasuke v. Madara will happen. For some reason, I feel like we'll get jipped on seeing the fights, then an epilogue chapter will come, revealing several years down the line Naruto is Hokage, Sasuke is still off doing his own thing, and end manga.

Kakashi seems pretty dead. They sent people to grab chouji's dad to bring him to the infirmary, whereas they didn't kakashi... He could be one of pains future bodies though, that would be cool.

Still don't think Kakashi is dead. His death wasn't as grand as with Jaraiya which I don't think would be the case if he was actually going to die. Tsunade's refusal to say if Kakashi would live could very well mean a 'maybe' or 'i'm not sure since he is fucked up bad' It doesn't mean he is dead at all, it would just be painful for her to say anything when she is really unsure so she said nothing.

I think Tsunade would probably lose a fight against that pain if it was not for her learning his 'secret' right beforehand (why else would he go in there alone if he didn't know he would win). It wasn't a coincidence that was mentioned right before he arrived. Just a hunch but I don't think either of them will die in their fight (assuming they actually fight and don't talk for a few chapters)

The 3tailed was only in the manga super briefly. Tobi and Deidara are shown first confronting it, and then later, dragging it to the Akatsuki hideout. It wasn't really fleshed out at all.

Wow, that feels like it could happen. Only thing I think I'd change is have Sasuke arrive while Danzou is still living so Sasuke can kill him and what not for his sort of revenge factor. Then everything else as you said, rofl. It does seem predictable like that.

I think its pretty obvious that Kakashi's still alive. I think they gotta give Naruto some kinda reason to blow up. He hasn't had anybody's lifeless body to react to since way back in the beginning when Sasuke and he fought the little needle ninja person(forgot his name with Zabuza). The third died without him there, Jiraya died without him there. I wanna see him react to somebody gettin thrashed other than Sasuke and him going off the deep end

Exactly what I was thinking. As someone else said, the three tails was only shown for a short time in the manga (I think, been too long) but it seems like they are going to make a whole filler arc out of it in the anime.

This week's episode was really good at least, next week's should be good as well.
