Episode 90 has put me back into "Man I really hate the Naruto anime" mindset. They had just about everyones personality off. I stopped watching shortly after Hinata came up, not because of her voice per se, but Kiba would typically be the one jumping to answer questions and I don't see the point in having them explain what their strategy will be before they leave Konoha and all 4 people there knew how the others' abilities worked.

In television, it's probably safe to assume the average viewer has the attention span of a flea. We may know what they do from episodes years ago, but it's still been ages. Anyway, I can't say I agree on the personality thing. Aside from Hinata turning into an idiot when Naruto's around, I'd hope they'd grown up a bit as a person and a ninja. The preview seemed to show Hinata acting surprised or even scared as they go along in the hideout, so I wouldn't say all is lost.

Oh god I hope they give Itatchi his own filler before he dies. Explain what he has been doing and thinking and explain why he was sick.

A filler all about Jman and oro would make sense but I hope they don't do anything to throw off from the main story.

Notes and Updates
Firstly a note about Weekly Shounen Jump. As mentioned last week, there is not suppose to be an issue "officially" released this week. So despite the spoilers that have come out, the actual thing is not expected until next week. Which means no Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Eyeshield21, etc. But we'll keep an eye on it in case someone manages to get the issue early somehow.

As for the updates, there are sooooo many of them. So we're sorry if a few things fall behind slightly, we're trying to do what we can. I also haven't had time to write up a post about what came out, but that list is going to be quite huge when I get around to it hehe

The funny thing about this for me is that I stopped watching the anime due to the ridiculous amount of fillers after the retrieve Sasuke arc. I started watching it again maybe a month ago when I heard it was at the Shikimaru arc and 3-4 episodes in guess what, its at fillers again lol.

I think the Naruto manga will be ending soon, maybe after 1-2 arcs. The destruction of Konoha would imply this...

This would explain why Shippuuden has been slow paced right from the start, with a filler arc happening after every major arc. The animators want it to drag out as long as possible while the author does not want Naruto ending up to be as crappy as like how Bleach turned into.

I'm not so sure. There are still a lot of things left to go into. There's Pein vs Naruto which is happening now, but then you have Danzo, Kabutomaru, Sasuke, Madara, at least two more Akatsuki guys and there are still 3 major hidden villages of ninja, though maybe only 2 considering Pein represents one (I think, I'm not 100% his village is a major one but I'm thinking such since the leader of a tiny village wouldn't really be god). And there's also the 8-tails who is still alive and doing something and his brothers village which is on the move. I see at LEAST 3 arcs left to complete this, but it's still a significant number of fights.

And remember that there's supposed to always be a constant state of tension between the ninja villages. A few years back Konoha showed up well at the Chuunin exam to show they're strong, then took a mighty blow from Orochimaru's attack. While it was I think mostly a filler motive, Konoha had to work extra hard to not appear weakened from Orochimari's attack so that other countries wouldn't try to take advantage of them and start a war. With Pein's attack I think there's very little way to avoid a war, I'm betting one of the major ninja villages comes and starts a war as soon as Naruto is able to beat Pein off. This manga can still go on for a while. While Naruto becoming very strong will make a number of things easy he still hasn't fully surpassed his father as Konoha's Yellow Flash, able to take out brigades in an instant. This war could show Naruto progressing into this level of power and have him begin to embrace his heritage.

Also, remember Tsunade is as far as we know safe and the manga probably won't finish until Naruto becomes Hokage and Tsunade won't be giving him leadership as he is now, even if he is that strong, at least I don't think she will.

Think that was more of an, "Oh, they're running away? Something must be up..." Were likely just regular birds as opposed to messenger stuff. Either way, isn't it like 3 days to the Sand Village on foot? A bird could probably get there in 1 or so, but this fight's practically over now.
