Pretty sure WSJ comes out on Thursdays, since every popular series save To-Love-ru has a scanlation before Friday morning up on the web.

Pretty sure the scans come out before it hits the shops - i guess the wholesalers etc get it delivered on the wednesday/thursday and thats where the raws come from.

Just to let you know WSJ goes on sale on Mondays the following week after we get the chapter. So the chapter we have now won't be on sale until the 5th, then it will skip the 12th and the next one would be on sale the 19th. Though you are right that we will see a chapter on the 15th it still wouldn't be on sale until that following monday. This is due impart to like every other newstand magazine subscribers get their copy in advance, which is usually where the raws show up from. Just wanted to clarify that a little.

Right but the dates in the magazine reflect when subscribers get it, which is where they probably get most their sales from (2.7 mil subscribers at the moment I think I read) which would be Thursdays.

First off a friendly reminder that Weekly Shounen Jump is taking another break. It should be back next week but for now that mean there will be no Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Eyeshield, Reborn, etc. That is officially anyhow, so we'll be on the look out again for possible early releases but they are definitely not expected to be coming out
