I know, I know, I hate raining on parades. But seriously, if Naruto just pulls out like fifty new jutsu, I'm gonna be severely disappointed. I know he had like, two, prior to this training, but it's gonna be plain gay if he has a new jutsu for every situation. Would rather see him use kagebunshin for everything than that, if only because I'm used to it by now.

He SHOULD have new jutsu. We haven't seen a real Naruto fight since pre-timeskip. Vs Orochimaru it was all Kyuubi, we don't even know what Naruto learned with Jiraiya much less with the frogs. Throwing out jutsu after jutsu SHOULD be what we expect from him after seeing how Jiraiya fights and knowing Jiraiya and Jiraiya sage trainers trained Naruto.

People complained about Naruto knowing only Kagebunshin/Rasengan. Does it really seem far-fetched for him to have learned one or two more jutsu's post time-skip? The Double Rasengan seems like a given to me, he naturally learned how to use it more efficiently. No different then his Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

I don't really get what your disappointed with. Unless you find some weird excitement in Kage Bunshin no Jutsu > Kage Bunshin no Jutsu > Rasengan > Kage Bunshin no Jutsu > Cry about something in the past > Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu > Rasengan style fights?

Did I say I didn't want him to have new jutsu? No. I said I didn't want to see a new jutsu for everything thrown at him, because that's retarded. No shit Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance against him if Naruto suddenly hacked Kakashi's Sharingan and has all these new jutsu for every single situation.

Anime has a looong way to go. It still has the sasuke vs orochi, some more sasuke failness, jiraiya vs pein, more sasuke failness, that fight with naruto etc in (damn i cant even remember who lol but it was akatsuki) then sasuke v itachi which went on at the same time.. then a bit of time in the village, then naruto went off for sage training..oh yeah and sasuke / killer bee

and as for the new jutsus, so what? He spend 3 years training with jiraiy7a, and now been learning an entirely new thing with sage training. and its not like they are impossible jutsus he just pulled out his ass, he probably never had a reason/ state of mind to throw around massive double rasengans before, but now he is pissed off, and doesnt need to worry about blowing up half the village with his jutsu since pein took care of that already

Oh lordy guys, come on and read. I'm not disappointed with what's been shown yet, like I said (other than shaking my head at the double Rasengan because it reminded me of Spirit Bombs, if only for the pose). I'm going to be disappointed if he has jutsu for every situation.

But as far as the anime, I want to see the Deidara vs Sasuke fight more than anything. I miss Deidara, he was funny.

What are you stupid? Please read 431 again. He already killed Fat Pain (Preta Path) with his Frog Katas (the punch that has longer range than it look because it focuses natural energy, allowing Naruto to miss the punch, but still having the natural energy attack the opponent).

It seems like Frog Katas kinda works like Gentle Fist, but it doesn't have to be a direct hit (and it doesn't attack chakra network). If u noticed, Preta Path went spinning after getting his face smushed, and it seems like he's now lying there dead with his neck twisted right next to God Realm Pain.

Also the new jutsu isn't called "Wave of Rage" that'd be dumb. Kishi is just noting that Naruto is entering a "Wave of Rage" and his new jutsu name will be revealed at the start of the next manga.

ALSO, he used Chou Odama Rasengan x2, which is nothing surprizing because it's a damn sage art: rasengan that Jiraiya used, but we got to actually see it do damage this time. "Natural energy" is unlimited as long as there is "nature" around ok?

This means his rasengans can be as big as he wants, also im pretty sure he cant use Chou Odama Rasengan w/o sage mode, because we never saw Jiraiya do any Chou Odama Rasengan outside of sage mode ...and he says Sage Art: before he uses the damn thing, jesus...

Naruto has taken out 2/6 paths, with ease, and 3 summons (with help of frogs). Even though Naruto's angry though, he's some how channeling his anger (acting very cool also), so that he does not snap and lose control (Kyuubi no thanks in this fight). I'm sure later on, Naruto will meet Killerbee and learn how to "tame" the Kyuubi, and become friends. This is a new Naruto, be happy or just stop reading kkthxbai.

I miss Hidan, that guy was awesome. Diedara too. I wish i could remember what actually happened, but it all kinda merged into one. when i got into naruto last year i literally sat there in a day and read like 200 chapters to catch up lol...

Also! Agreeing on meeting Killerbee and finding out how to control the Kyuubi
I am so glad he isn't using any Kyuubi power though, that wold be a real disappointment if he did.

Listen, lol. You can do without the insults, I knew coming into this thread that I'd get some people into a nerd rage, but relax a bit. It's just a manga. And, really, sorry that I got one of my examples mixed up, truly! It doesn't make my point any less valid that if he has something to counter every single situation he's in, I'm going to be disappointed. I feel I need to stress this, once again: I'm not upset about the double Rasengan other than the blaring similarities to Spirit Bombs, because that just makes me fear for this anime. It's not like I didn't expect him to have new jutsu, jesus christ lol, but thanks for the vocabulary lesson, too. I'll be sure to use all the proper names for jutsu for now on.

He had years and years of experience and with just a little bit of training, Naruto is already surpassing him. I just find it hard to accept, even if it is happening. Jiraiya would have had an answer to everything if he had known pein's powers. The only reason Naruto is able to counter effectively is because he has Katsuyu telling him what is needed to fight each body. It is good for a ninja to be able to counter anything thrown at them given they have the knowledge. The reason Pein is so strong is because he has excess knowledge in a fight via his multiple bodies and eyes and no one lives long enough to figure out how he fights and pass it on. With the knowledge granted by Jiraiya and the attack on the village Naruto is at a great advantage against this form of Pein, especially with his masterful Sage usage, which has been stated to be better than Jiraiya's.

That is Naruto's power, being able to pick things up quickly. He was unable to learn jack in the ninja academy because of the Kyuubi chakra throwing him off and was dead last, passing on a technicality. But a few months later he nearly wins the Chuunin exam against a jinchuriiku, not "winning" because of a bit of a technicality. In a few days of training he was able to surpass the Fourth at the fourths own technique, Naruto has been shown to be the quickest learner in the Narutoverse, that is his strength.

Of course it's also possible Naruto acting "cool" is just part of his sage mode and once he's out of it he'll go back to his usual Naruto, but I think Kishi will keep that minimal.

as someone said the other week, a load of people are injured/dead and the entire village has been reduced to rubble, there isn't much for naruto to be runing around datebayo-ing about anymore

And yes, I know that Jiraiya lost because he only figured things out in the end, but it still makes me sad for Jiraiya. Like I said before the selective quoting by someone else to try making me look stupid or whatever, I'm glad Naruto is getting stronger, but the situation still makes me bummed for Jiraiya.

Jiraiya didn't "fell so easily" to Pain, he gave Pain one hell of a fight... He lost because he thought he have killed all the Pains. Little did he know, there were 6 of them.

Even with one arm, Jiraiya was able to fight all 6 pains together and take one of them down. Had he not lose his other arm, he probably would have been able to take out all 6 Pains.
