you can debate the strength and chakra reserves of peins bodies, but you cant debate the summons strength. they have their own chakra reserves as we've seen many times before so they aren't weaker just because pein is.

It could be argued that they were weakened from the fights around konoha previously, but i dont recall seeing that rhino being summoned before naruto got there so if that was the case, he managed to stop it dead in its' tracks without any trouble whatsoever at it's full strength so... yea

Also, pain isn't wearing some super armor earth jutsu or w/e shit, his bodies are easily vulnerable to many attacks, and have been caught off guard in this arc plenty of times.

1st occasion: Choji crushing Ashura Path with Mega-Thrust Palm(he's easiest with brute force, but 2nd most dangerous when left to roam)

2nd occasion: Kakashi Raikiri's Ashura Pain(Who moves infront of Regular Pain) after choji and choza with Kakashi's chain-up-pain idea worked, AND as a result, Kakashi severed that pain's body in half.

3rd occasion: Konohamaru caught Hell Pain off guard with Shadow Clone-Rasengan, WHILE learning the secret to his Genjutsu, and presumably KO'ing him (not killing since he appears again b4 Tensei.

4th occasion: Kiba and his Mom almost surprised Preta Pain when he was snooping around the lab and mingling with the previous Animal Path Pain, Pain had to use the desceased Animal Path to block their attack, or else he'd be injured by Fang-over-Fang (since he hates Taijutsu and can only absorb Ninjutsu).

I might be missing some but those are pretty good examples, at how everyone has fought a full-strength pain pre-Chou Shinra Tensei. All these bodies are and were always vulnerable, it's the controller Nagato that is right now invulnerable, because no one knows where he is.

Deva Realm is the most powerful out of them all, since he can nuke areas on large scales, but it's a life span shortener. He knew what he was doing in destroying the village, even though he was searching for Naruto.

I'm pretty sure he wants to fight Naruto but did not heed Madara's warning, to not underestimate him.

Apparently Pain got consumed in his anger and destroyed Konoha when that wasn't even his goal (note capturing the 9tailed demon), putting his Pain bodies at risk. He probably got inspired to destroy it because he saw that Tsunade was pumping chakra in her feet to avoid Shinra Tensei, so he made an even stronger one, that she couldn't guard.

That's his fault for being easy to read!, now he's gonna get his face beaten in, after Naruto takes care of his weakass bodies MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! With the help of Katsuyu of course, since she's giving him information on how to kill each body one at a time. It's like a Pokedex in a pocket (slugform).

Since he already knew to crush Ashura w/ Brute Force and Surprize, and was told by Katsuyu to use Taijutsu (his decision to use Frog Katas) on Preta Path.

All that's left is for Katsuyu to tell him to watch out for Hell Realm's Neck hold Soul-eating Genjutsu (info gathered from Konohamaru-Ebisu).

Also Katsuyu will have to tell Naruto to watch out for Human Path's sneak attacking Soul-taker moves (he's too easy though, not even worthy of a fight),

Animal Path is easy as shit w/o summons plus frogs can help.

Finally since Katsuyu knows about Deva Path, all he has to do is tell Naruto to concentrate heavy chakra into his feet, and he'll do fine, in guaruding against Shinra Tensei (unless Pain goes desperate again and uses the Chou Shinra Tensei).

So this fight is pretty much a wrap, plus naruto has moves we've never seen before. Only thing that can stop him is if Kisame/Madara/Sasuke's team/Zetsu arrive to save their leader (Im pretty sure Zetsu is watching this fight, but hasen't been seen yet, so he'd relay details to Madara/Kisame/Sasuke's Team).

ALSO Sasuke cant beat Naruto, Naruto has too much new shit, AND he has the gift from Itachi, which no one still knows what it is...only Naruto does, and he'll use it on Sasuke, incase he ever tries to come attack the village (even though there is no more village hmmm).

Kumogakure Ninjas and Gai's Team are otw to Konoha too, so idk what role they'll play. Also why is Killerbee on vacation at a time like this, he's so awesome too! DAMN SO MUCH STUFF TO READ :D

Don't underestimate pain, he is, for the most part, not even trying it seems. It looks like he wants to see what naruto can do before he commits himself to fully attack, or maybe retreat with what he knows so he can take him out later with less risk. He wouldn't have known about his 'extra reach' natural energy thing had he not sent out one of his bodies that he can resurrect to be the sacrificial lamb.

The summons seemed a bit strong to me with surviving giant rasengans but I think the main reason they were not killed by that alone is because seeing the frogs doing some stuff was cool and that was a good opportunity to do it.

Don't count out Sasuke yet. He was given his own power up a while back and we haven't even seen what it is, it would be stupid to give him a new power and then have it be for nothing. It would be stupid writing to do that.

Oh ok, I get it now. You are just ignoring the facts and being drawn into the author's simple plotline. Pein is simply using the summons/bodies as time buyers for him to recover chakra. It isn't a loss for him, everything is going according to his plan, he's observing his opponent while safely recovering for whatever it is he is planning to do. You can't argue against this, it says it clearly in the chapter. It was cool seeing Naruto do some cool shit, but you're all over his dick like he can't fail all of a sudden due to his badass Jiraiya-jacket.

Also, if you're thinking he can defeat Pein just because he threw a Rhino in the air you're just not being objective. Tsunade could have done that too, shit, and I'm sure we wouldn't be cheering, "Tsunade is owning Pein LOL" if she had. It's just typical anime setup, main character gets a power up, author gives him time to show off before bringing us back to the reality that he will not always win effortlessly. You can just keep drinking your haterade, but Naruto's going to beat Pain, and that's that, he might be the leader of the Akatsuki but he's not the strongest, especially if he takes orders from Madara, and we've not seen Kisame at 100% power (real fight) yet, except we know that his sword can cut away the 9 tail fox's demon cloak.

Leaders have superiors or supervisors or w/e, just like hokage has advising elders (elders like chiyo is as strong as any hokage with her puppetry even though she's old).

We haven't seen the leaf village (konoha elders) in action yet though, but they were on the same team as the third, so i wouldn't doubt that they are strong.

Despite what I may have said earlier or the tone I took (I really shouldn't post when I'm still waking up), I'm anxious to see if Killerbee will help Naruto at all with the Kyuubi, and how they manage to control their demons.
