As I recall, Sasuke already tried to 1-hit KO Tobi only for Tobi to get back up acting like a goof "oh, was that attack suppose to cut me in half?" ok he didn't say that but still, I imagined he should've .......seeing that makes me think that there's more to Tobi than meets the eye... also....the mystery behind him gives him an auto "power level" boost according to shonen regulations. Tobi's role in this manga must be of extreme importance, otherwise why the extra mask? Why not just cover his face in darkness like the other Akatsuki until his time comes? I'm not gonna say Tobi is stronger than Sasuke because there has been no proof of it but....I'll guarantee one thing, everyone will go :OOOOOO when we see the true Tobi!!!!

I'll admit, Sasuke is definitely strong and a genuise....but this fight showed that he is not the invinsible shinobi he was made to look during the previous chapters, it is actually more conceivable now that he and naruto are not that far apart in strength....

Oh and don't assume that Tobi didn't save Deidara yet, I mean look at what happened with the previous villains we thought died instantly after a "certain" attack.......wasn't quite dead now right?

i think self-preservation would be enough of a reason to save deidara, because it's certainly no good now that tobi's alone facing against sasuke.

But if he's strong and thinks he can handle Sasuke, but never could stand Deidara (and they've had their fights before) why not let Sasuke take him out? He'd probably be kicked out of Akatsuki if he did that himself.
