As much as I liked Gaara, theres really not enough room for him in the story. Too many characters, too much stuff going on.. he has already served his purpose.

I don't think that it's the end of sage mode. Naruto has to have something planned, whether it's a bushin that's in front of Pain right now, with the real one gathering natural energy, or gathering while moving. He didn't seem too worried about running out of sage juice, as long as he could kill one more of Pain's bodies.

Yeah, but I have to admit.. watching him completely destroy the other Pein/Pains by himself, Sage Mode or not.. was just so awesome. I especially loved his double rasengan. That may be one of the most used moves in the history of ever, but the way he's demonstrated he can use it now is just beyond cool.

Also, I'm curious to see if that bit about Itachi's power comes up again for Naruto.

I think it will. which is why i always thought we would see sasuke v naruto again, at least for a short bit. I figured he gave him something that would help if he had to stop that takafag by force, maybe screw with his sharingan or something, idk i guess we shall just have to wait and see

It seemed to me like whatever Naruto was given, it would be to use against Sasuke if the occasion ever arose. Kinda like a fail-safe if Madara got involved (which he did of course). Now Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha, the thing Itachi feared the most. So I think Itachi's power is probably going to be something to put Naruto on even footing with Sasuke.. something to get around those hax eyes.

I'm really happy to see how developed and just how far naruto has come... used to take 2 clones to help with a rasengan, now he's putting one in each hand alone etc etc... even if it's sage mode tricks, just the fact that he surpassed jiraiya in sage mode is awesome.

Also, I'm pretty sure the thing Itachi gave Naruto was for when he encounters Sasuke... but Itachi does know about the other akatsuki members and you never know, it could be something for one of them as well considering they are stronger than Sasuke and specifically out to get Naruto's 9tails.

Just recently caught up with the anime and i have to say it's gotten really exciting. Except, one thing that still makes me want to scream is the fact choji and ino are still so god damn usless. Even sakura has gotten pretty respectable, but the rest of team 10 are just pathetic, except for shikimaru whos just awesome!

most every side character has become completely useless after the fight with the sound 4 people.

Author should have ran Naruto's (or Sasuke's) full arc, then go back and show what the other did during the same time(ie Lord of the Rings). I can't even fully remember the 3 lightning brats. Why introduce them when they have done nothing. More or less the same with "TEAM HAWK" or whatever.

Wondering if with Sasuke's vision faltering, if Itachi gave him an incomplete MS with Naruto having the other half. From there, it'd basically come down to them deciding to team up to accomplish various goals.
