Yep, Nagato was the original one with the Rinnegan.
Oh and this upcoming chapter is going to show how Naruto's fighting skills have matured. Just read how he handles Pein, haha...

Yeah I've been saying since time-skip we haven't really had many opportunities for him to actually fight with brains, he's really only need brute strength... excluding when he first did FRS to that akatsuki member with all the hearts and he vanished and did it from above, but that was a typical move.
Jiraiya taught him well, not to mention sage mode seems to really grant him an overall-boost. Oh, that and since finding out jiraiya died he's really seemed to grow up, and step it up. Becoming very serious and taking control - even leading somewhat. Sennin Naruto ftw.

He said he can only use 2per Sage-bunshin it seems. Since he has 4 left to use and 2 clones were in myobakuzan. He did one that was absorbed, and the 2nd was fake, meaning he has 1 left with this body and another 2 with his last body.
