I figured he'd seem pretty weak if he uses bodys to fight for him, it was a given.

But then again he must have enormous chakra, as well as we still don't know much about the eyes.

That spoiler ruined the chapter pretty bad for me. Normally spoilers dont ruin a chapter for me, but not this time. after the last few chapters it switched to one with no action. Would have been tons better if I didnt see peins body before hand.

Nagato: "People are stupid." I lol'd hard. Surprised Naruto didn't have a response to his question, though. This was one of the few chapters that didn't have a lot of action in it I liked.

Nagato's argument was completely valid, that's why Naruto couldn't come up with a response. Hes isn't THAT stupid. Not like Konoha hasn't destroyed other countries when they expanded their own borders. I kind of want to see Nagato succeed. :3

And those are usually the best villains, ones with a real purpose aside from just pure evil.

It'll be interesting to see how things go, I'd say typically Naruto will stop Pain with the reasoning of "That way is wrong! I'll find a way to do it on my own, dattebayo!" but I won't be too unhappy if that's how it goes really.

The best part is that naruto can relate SO WELL.

I mean, he relates to every enemy... but he knows first hand how it is. They really are alike lol.

Pain makes for a great Villan to Naruto, I hope he stays around for a while as he > Madara/Sasuke/anyone up to this point.

At first I felt very underwhelmed about Nagato's true appearance due to the spoiler, but after reading it and thinking about it for like five minutes, Pain is just badass. I'm curious to know the details of "creating" another body for use, and I'd also like to know why he's in his current state. The paralysis thing seems most plausible, sure, but I'd like a few weeks of flashback chapters showing exactly what happened. Then again, I'd also like to be left with a bit of mystery about him as well... so either way I can't wait to read the next few chapters for sure.

I wonder if his main body can do the gravity technique (well, I'm sure he'd be able to use all the techniques the other bodies could, but if he's paralyzed I'd think the gravity is the best bet to actually work)? And possibly at a faster rate? Maybe the fact he has to channel chakra to the "main" Pain body causes the slight delay.

Pain's plan is not flawless. He's talking about performing genocide in order to dominate the wills of others. That's atypical villainy and it would be detrimental to humanity. He doesn't calculate that people are not afraid of "pain" or a super nuclear weapon. No, they'll just want to stop him(revenge/justice/hurr) and his magic bomb. He'll be a despot killing countless numbers of people innocent or otherwise until civilization has been all but wiped out. And then he'll do it again if he is still around when it comes back.

Naruto can't answer him because he is a kid. Or he can't because in the author's opinion/world Pain is right.

The entire chapter I had "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffer--PAIN" bouncing in my head. >_>; At least naruto isn't as dragged out as Bleach is at the moment. Still, pretty decent chapter overall, just hope they don't stick to Pain ranting in the next few chapters.

So pain wants to destroy everything to achieve temporary peace, talk about naive. Not only it won't last and he will also become a mass murder in the process. He could have formed alliance with other villages and facilitate open-border commerce. If all the villages are financially dependent on each other, they will be less likely to invade each other since it's against their own interest to do so. I was under the impression that pain would aspire to a higher philosophical and existentialist goal, I guess I was wrong.

Hes going to bust a code geass and control the whole world, having everyone focusing their hate on one person, thus uniting them. Then some dude comes and kill him, the end.
