where can you get torrents now of subbed episodes? i was watching streamed but cruncyroll (i think it was?) was so appalling i prefered to just watch a RAW torrent.

because he doesnt have the same goals as him, and he can just as easily, if not more easily reach his goals w/o leading Akatsuki?
Pein just wants to kill abunch of people, as where tobi/madara wants to rule* (dont think madaras intentions have actually been stated have they?)
we can also state the fact that just because his eye ability is generally stronger than the sharingan, doesnt make the user stronger. Killer Bee doesnt have any eye technique, yet he completely destroyed Sasuke.
You also dont have to be the leader of something to get what you want. plus tobi has that gay space/time jutsu

I am under the impression that pain's too egocentric, dogmatic to serve under tobi/madara. He doesn't need tobi/madara to capture all the tail beasts since all other members obey pain's command anyway. He's the de facto leader of the group, and tobi so far has been without any apparent role in the story.

Also, the killer bee isn't a valid comparison, because his strength is not hinged on his eyes. For almost all ninjas who have special eye techniques, how good their eyes is usually indicative of how strong they are as a whole.

of course it's valid. you can't just ignore it cause it doesnt fit with what you want to believe. theres more examples of eye users v no eye ability users that fit what I'm saying to. neji v naruto, haku v sasuke etc. yes killer bee and naruto have the tailed beasts, so what? sharigan, rinnengan, byakugan are all blood traits they were born with too.
The big question is, without their eye techniques how crappy of a ninja would sasuke, neji and Pein be?
imo they rely on that shit way to much. well, Pein has no choice to rely, but he'd also be dead right now if he didnt have his. him, konan and nagato would have died and never met Jaraiya.

those ninjas would be pretty crappy, i think, without their eyes. they rely on them a lot and a lot of their other techniques also require use of their eyes for whatever reason.

Mentioned it a few pages back, but I've been using HorribleSubs' version of downloads from TT. Was some speculation they were the DB people, and it wouldn't surprise me all that much if they were given all the trolling they liked to do on Naruto. Either way, they come out modestly early in the afternoon and have a number of download qualities. I usually just shoot for 480 since my rig's not HD. Plus it looks fine enough when I filter video out to my TV.

Tobi has tons more power and experience than Pein does. He's been around for eons longer than Pein has and has probably accumulated massive amounts of jutsu in an Orochimaruesque line of method.

In all truth, we don't even know the exact abilities that Pein himself posses, since he's using the powers that those other ninjas had through their dead bodies.
