The reason for getting the perfect Mangekyo over Itachi's/Sasuke's Mangekyo is that your vision will never falter. If you remember after Sasuke used Itachi's eye technique on Killerbee his eyes were fucked up.

It's possible they need to keep Naruto around for defensive purposes for a while and then do another timeskip-esque situation and introduce another villain of sorts. Possibly not even do Madara before the skip. Having Tsunade and Naruto at home at Konoha is probably going to be enough to still intimidate the ninja world and being in a tight alliance with sand could stop them from getting attacked so long as Naruto doesn't go on an adventure too far away to return for a fight. Naruto is going to be pretty well-known if he defeats Pein, I'd say.

Seriously. AND he still wants to become a Hokage, but his ass is still a genin. Realistically, Shikamaru would make the best Hokage, IMO, but in annimation world, it would only make sense for Naruto to fill in the shoes.

Actually I would love to see someone else like Shikamaru become Hokage, then have Naruto take up the traveling sage thing like Jiraiya. Then Sasuke gets fucked up by Tenten, just to make him as LOL as possible.

While Shikamaru would probably be an okay Hokage, I'd actually consider it a waste of talents since the politics of the position would put a hamper on focusing on his strengths. Instead of worrying about everything, whomever else is Hokage coming to him and saying, "Hey, got a problem, how do we fix it?" would likely guarantee a higher chance of success. Overall, I think he's too reactive when the position calls for being proactive.

I'm not sure if Naruto would still want to be Hokage. I know it was his dream early on in the story, but that was when he was still a child. He seems like he has greatly matured since the beginning of the series and I don't really know if he would still want to be Hokage, and might end up like Jiraiya. But, this series is made for kids, so he probably will become Hokage, and it will end. =/

After Pein bites it, Akatsuki may be put on the backburner for a while considering it looks like Danzo is planning his next moves to be after the dust clears.

I prettymuch foresee a war coming up almost immediately. The last war got started by the kage in the sand's village going missing so it leaves me the impression that all the nations are practically at each others throats waiting for the opportunity to attack anyone perceived as weak.
The sand village freaked out when Garaa got captured due to how easily a ninja war would have started(esp since that's exactly what happened last time) and the structure of the village itself is centered upon each villager a modified "survival of the fittest" ideal. It's each member for themselves but they make sure each member can survive on their own with the extensive training given to them.(as evidenced by the "high quality" of the average ninja in the sand despite them technically being the weak village.
