You know what? I sort of read it that way too, then I wasn't so sure. I honestly don't see a Naruto/Sakura sort of ending.. assuming both survive. That and I'm sure they won't almost kill Hinata, only to leave her shafted like that. I think it was more of an overwhelming surprise of hearing Hinata voice herself that way. Still.. Sakura's reaction was pretty good. Like.. "Holy crap.." We have seen some nice Sakura/Naruto interactions throughout Shippuuden, though.

from an artists perspective, the reaction he drew on her is a hurt reaction imo. i think you're right. i cant help but see that personality in her when i see that particular part. anime couples never make any sense. the people who end up being together are usually complete opposites. who knows <_>;

So maybe I missed it but when did Naruto have time to mass shadow clone and transform them into rocks? Thought it was neat that he beat Pein with an good ol normal rasengan and the rasenshuriken were only distractions.

I bet the next fight will be, Cloud Ninja vs Team Hawk. As the Cloud Ninja are heading to Konoha to send the message to Tsunade, they'll arrive and notice that the village is wiped out, and then they'll be shocked. At the same time, Madara will inform Pain has failed to capture Nine Tails (after Naruto beats Deva Realm, and while he's talking to Nagato).

Madara will assume his position as leader (cause he'll assume that Nagato and Konan are also dead too), and he'll send Team Hawk to Konoha to capture 9Tails. When Cloud is venturing away from Konoha, they'll meet up with Hawk, who are venturing towards Konoha, and we'll have a fight arc...this arc will have intermissions of Naruto talking to Konan and Nagato. Konoha Ninja will be in recovery mode though but yeah...just taking a guess at next arc really LUL.

Don't forget, Naruto knows where Nagato is now, so he has to go get him - hopefully Gai/lee/neji will join cause Konan+whatever else pain can do might be a lot for naruto after this fight especially without sage mode clones.

Well, Naruto's current strategy involves mass clones getting thrown in every which way and attacking in every which way, rocks getting thrown and rasen-shuriken usage. Kind of a big radius on his attack, it'd hurt to have to avoid a teammate with the way he's currently fighting.
