Shikamaru was basically noting how he cant help but FOLLOW Naruto, and how important he will be in the future. Mr. Shikaku reminisces on this moment, and realizes/affirms what Shikamaru was saying. This leads me to believe that Naruto definitly has the potential to be the NEXT Hokage after Tsunade, and then Konohamaru <=(based how much stronger he continues to become, already showing good progress).

He already wants to change the ninja system, look at how he was arguing with Inoichi. Man next few chapters are gonna be very important. If Nagato turns out to be a psychotic freak bent on the "HULK SMASH" attitude then Naruto's gonna smash his rib cage wide open (lol visible rib cage O.o). BUT I'm sure Naruto will explain to them that they are being used by Madara, from there on idk........................

Naruto may be more than a Hokage. I know that's kinda obvious, but I think he might not ever become a Hokage, he might do more in essence to remove the need for Hokage's and ninja villages and such. That's a big part of how Pain came to be, ninja villages going to war with each other, so Naruto's response may be to find a way to end the existence of such things.

I don't think Naruto is going to rip open his ribcage. The main body of pain means the rinnengan is going to be MUCH stronger since the chakra isn't traveling a distance to the bodies. He probably has some kind of invisible invincible shield and all that stupid overpowered crap since technically he should be able to use every ninja technique period.

Should be an interesting chat, I like how hes like stfu and get out konan lol. Having others realize the Hokage traits besides Tsunade Jirayia and Kakashi is really interesting. It means his friends all realize it too, and this is --BEFORE-- he was sage mode and killing pain bodies. Now other Jounins and major ninja's in the village are seeing it. You might be right about Hokage not being a high enough rank for him.

Idk, I think towards the end of the manga he will be offered to be Hokage, but he'll turn it down. He wanted to become hokage to gain the respect of everyone in the village. He's already done that.

I'm picturing the one of the final scenes be himlooking towards the village and smiling looking at konohamorus carved in. Then he'll either turn back and itll be the family he's starting with (w/e girl you think he's gonna end up with), or he'll be walking off into the woods, wandering the world like j-man.

I enjoyed Naruto because of the side characters, but now the manga only focus on the blond twit and is yawn. All the cool people are dropping like flies and they are dragging this way too long. All in all, it's getting boring.

As for the manga, the fillers are actually pretty good until the end. Like this new one and the Sora garbage. I was excited when I first saw the foe as their concepts were pretty cool. And just how many times will Konoha get destroyed before people start moving out of that place? Attack of a giant snake, nah. Rise of the Zombies, nah. Pein blowing it off of the face of the planet, nah! Let's rebuild it and pretend nothing bad will ever happen.

This is only the 2nd time in the last few years it has been attacked (that we know of). And it's a warring world. How do you know they're not mostly safer in Konoha despite the risk of being attacked because of issues with missing nin + bandits and such outside of a ninja village?

Rise of the Zombies was the filler from the anime that went from good to awful. Almost the entire city got destroyed? Well, at least that's what it looked like in the anime, I mean the walls were all down and half of the village was burried under the rocks.

My money is on naruto successfully convincing pain to fight along side with him against tobi. It's the only logical conclusion given all the quasi-heroic speech about how he feels misery too and doesn't want to just destroy pain.

It was maybe 2 pages and it was more like 5 chapters ago. The pace is still moving quickly. At least they didn't have Hinata going "thank god, Naruto...thank god" for half of the chapter like some manga do it.

i doubt it, Nagato looks pretty jacked up to be doing any fighting...
