Agree, anime nowadays are too predictable. It makes you wonder whether they are even trying anymore.

I want the time I spent watching that movie back although it was entertaining to see 4-tails animated. Also, was I the only one who thought it was odd that rather than cut the kelp with the razor sharp scalpel, she just kinda struggled and drowned?

Yeah I laughed a bit at that. Though she passed out shortly thereafter so maybe she just didn't have the air/energy for that. Of course, 30s later she's sucking poison out of Naruto, who magically doesn't have Kyuubi healing anymore (seriously? a fish downing Naruto?).

I was watching it a bit, but it was just too much cliche for my tastes. I like the Naruto world in the manga, the anime seems to take away from it and filler especially.

terrible fucking plot, and a ton of wasted potential. I think Sai stole the show tbh; those scenes were pretty damn cool. god it would be great if the anime could get to the point where naruto has more than shadow clones + rasengan to work with for fights, or better yet, let other people fight more. I want another badass shikamaru, lee/gai, kakashi, or yamato fight. or lets see what the fuck jounin neiji can do.

ugh that movie was so stupid....

1) sky ninja attack the village, totally rape everything and two of the strongest ninjas in the village are just sitting there in the office looking at everything.
2) they mount a counterattack with just two teams. One team didn't do a single thing(somehow sakura ended up with them?) and the other didn't use their strongest member at all.
3) Why is shikamaru bossing kakashi around?
4) Sai reaches his limit fighting 4 bitches and yet, shino manages to destroy the entire army of sky ninjas by himself without breaking a sweat? ok..
5) lee/gai open 5/6 gates and totally rape anything they're fighting.. dude opens all 8 gates and gets pwned by naruto? ok, the power of love is indeed strong.
6) Naruto goes 4 tails and turns back without being injured at all...
7) Why did they form a 3 man cell to escort a random doctor to some random village? still taking missions in the middle of a war? ok...
8) What takes more chakra/is easier.. doing mass clones and rasenganing a gigantic floating fortress thing.. or summoning gamabunta to punch it a few times and jump off to safety?
9) hey the fortress housing all the bad guys is over there! lets just sit here and watch naruto instead of helping.

ugh... rage..... serious neji/lee/shino fight can i have it? ; ;

Remember, Shikamaru was doling out orders to his entire team(including Kakashi), when they took on Hidan and Kakuzu. I'd say that Kakashi accepts that Shikamaru has a superior tactical intellect, and will likely defer to him in most situations.

The rest, I totally agree with.

And what is it with all this complex technology that seems completely exclusive to the movies?
