More likely Tobi or one of Hebi. But it would be interesting if Naruto of Kakashi saved him. Since their goal is to get Sasuke back anyways right? Haha.

That explosion was pretty big, I doubt burrowing underground would save him, and if it does, well that seems kind of lame. Hebi probably will show up, unless sasuke did have another trick or way to escape. He didn't have his sharingan up so i'm expecting someone to jump in, rather than him escaping himself.

Yeah, but...

I'll put it in small text since someone told me I should die in a fire or something last time:

Sasuke said he still had a trump card more or less, perhaps he has a similar technique to that of Kakashi's Mangekyou Sharingan where he can transport things to a different dimension. Actually, didn't he do something like that to Orochimaru? If that's the case, then I wouldn't doubt he'd be able to just send Deidara to another place to explode, and maybe that's the area we saw on the last page.

Then again, I'm bad at guessing things. ._.

It's probably something really simple. Like.. he used his snakes to shield him from the blast (A whole shitload of snakes). Or he summoned a snake and it ate him and burrowed underground. Or.. one of his teammates does something. Or.. he just.. teleports? Or he just stands there and takes the blast like nothing because he was toying with Deidara the entire time. That would seem an appropriate dragonball Z type Naruto thing to do.

I got it! That thing on the last page was not Deidara's explosion, but actually an oddly shaped Spirit Bomb made by Sasuke. If that's the case, obviously a year has passed since the page-before-last and the last page. That, or Sasuke is stronger than Goku.

Oh, and in before old over 9000 thing.

Im liking the transported it to another dimension thing like kakashi did, but they specifically showed him removing the sharingan and deidara said something about how lightly hes taking him that he doesnt even use it. Since they dedicated a page to that, the scene makes me think someone else did something and stepped in.

Higurashi no Naku koro ni. Comedy/horror anime with messed up story. It's a anime imo, even if some scene/arc are weak at time. Streamed episode here (need firefox to watch I think). First 4 episodes will give you a decent idea of what the series is about if you are wondering.

I think someone will jump in at last moment and do some shit to save him. There is no way their gonna kill him off. Even know he is an annoying jackass most the events taking place is about him.

Also that statue there putting the beasts in. I wonder if we will ever see it fight. I think he is the head of the group, But he seems frozen there till they got the 9-tails.

And last but not least I heard about the 4th movie and people are saying naruto dies. But if I remember he can't die right? During his and sasuke fight, sasuke breaks his neck on the ground then naruto falls into the water and the nine tails says he can't do anything without him, And then naruto goes ape shit on sasuke.

Sasuke didn't break his neck, he would never try. He would never kill Naruto because he doesn't want Itachi to have the satisfaction of him obtaining the Mangekyou Sharingan the same way he did.

Still, I don't think Sasuke would purposely kill Naruto. Not back then anyway, but in Shippuuden maybe, especially considering he intends to interfere with Sasuke's plans for Itachi.
