Why would Oro give Danzo a sharingan before being able to obtain a set of his own?

Could be possible that Danzo's Sharingan is from Tobi after he was found crushed under that rock and it's all messed up. Maybe he can't use it properly or something. At any rate I would suspect he wants Oro's notes to see if there is a way that he can deactivate it at will

I think I am wrong. Before the spoiler picture came out, it was said that when the ROOT OPs have to take their masks off, one looks like one of Peins Realms, and the other looks like Yamato. Looking at the picture, it looks more like Sai, which is wierd cause the part above the nose is shadowed out, and their eyes look almost like Rinnegan...

I remember a while back Kishi said he wanted to keep naruto going so it can be the longest manga or something, but that won't happen. I know of one that is much longer and that is Detective Conan which is about to hit a milestone 700th chapter in 2 weeks.

A couple of things though. Someone on NF had a theory:

Danzo found out about Oro's experiements and for his silence asked him to fix his eye. Oro transplanted a Sharingan in Danzo's eye and possibly healed his right arm as well.

This would somewhat make a bit of sense, but would also mean that Danzo has been fooling everyone with his "bad eye and bad right arm" that he actually suffered in battle long ago. He tells ROOT that they need to find Kabuto because he might have information on how to heal his eye and arm, but this is more of a coverup as he wants them to find him because Kabuto might know about his connection to Oro and wants him dead. I am starting to think Kishi is trying to trick us into thinking that Madara and Danzo are the same person, but I am starting to lean towards Danzo being a ninja who obtain the sharingan the way that Kakashi got his. I could see an epic Danzo vs Kakashi fight in the future.

Detective Conan currently has 64 volumes, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has 94, and Kochikame has the record of longest manga with 163 volumes.

(No, I didn't know those numbers off-hand, Wikipedia is your friend :3)

I thought the problem with Kakashi's Sharingan was that it was too draining on his chackra, because he wasn't an Uchina, not that he couldn't turn it off. Naruto 142 PAge 14

i cant remember it being directly said but i'm sure the whole reason for Kakashi keeping his eye covered is because it can't be shut off.

I've never heard of Kochikame before, was just going off of manga that I know of that has more chapters than Naruto. I just looked it up, 1500 chapters from 1976 until now is pretty crazy and they are still going..

That's the explanation I remember. If it's covered, it doesn't drain chakra because it isn't being used. If he left his eye uncovered, it would drain chakra regardless of what he is doing.

Obvious speculation on whats coming:

It's obvious he's going to match Danzou vs Kakashi.
Both were candidates for Rokudaime.
Each has the opposite eye with Sharingan.
Both keep their Sharingan covered 90% of the time.

The question now is: How does Danzou's sharingan compare and how did he get it.

Logically he cant be Obito but obviously this is manga and logic only applies when it fits the mangaka's agenda.

i predict kakashi getting some bullshit power up 'cause of the talk he had with his dad if he does fight against danzo. Maybe not a power up per se but a different fighting technique/method that his dad used to use :E.

It's uncommon to see the little 'NARUTO' tab on the second to last page but it has happened before.

With that said, this Obito/Danzou/Madara shit is getting quite insane. I remember when folks laughed at the prospect of a dead Obito being reintroduced again in the manga somehow linking to Tobi. Due to this revelation, it seems like doubting it now would be stupid.
