That'd be a fucking trip. Danzou gets held up and prevented from attending the summit and instead Naruto arrives and Gaara assumes hes finally been made hokage. Shit ensues afterwards.

Danzou isn't Obito or Madara's brother, you're all over complicating plot lines, neither of those would make any sense. The idea that he simply stole the eye a la Kakashi style after the Massacre makes much more sense. His eye was damaged long ago, you can see the scars when he lifted the bandages at the end of this chapter, so after the massacre he probably said, fuck it and took an eye to replace his already fucked up one.

The reason he's left it covered up is obvious, how good do you think it would look if an entire clan was wiped out and some guy was walking around with one of their eyes? Of course he had to keep it a secret, lol. Danzou isn't some other character, he's just gotten access to a sharingan, no reason to get worried, imo.

Not only that, but Danzo has to keep his eye covered cause he cannot turn the Sharingan just like Kakashi can't turn his off. It drains too much chakra. We know his right eye and arm were damaged in one of the Ninja wars. He probably got the eye swapped at some point, Keeping his eye covered was for three reasons: To hide that he had transplanted Sharingan, to give the illusion that he was still a cripple, and to keep his eye covered to save chakra.

Still can't decide which knee-jerk plot twist I hate more. Danzo having a Sharingan with absolutely no story that could back it up or Yammy being #0 in Bleach with the "LOL U THOT IT WAS 1-10? NOOB" plot twist.

I don't see how it's that terrible. Kakashi got one on "good" terms. Danzo is a shady mother fucker and I bet you there's a mother fucking shady explanation for how he got it (since he was involved in getting the entire clan massacred). From the explanation we have so far Danzo had been feuding with the 3rd for QUITE some time and he probably thought he needed every advantage he could get to go against him, the sharingan is a pretty nice tool to take.

i still think the best fight scene in the series was the one with gaara and rock lee. the artwork and entire scene was drawn brilliantly. right now, it seems kinda half ass lol. but they're probably using their good artists for the sasuke/deidra fight coming up!

I don't know... Naruto vs Sasuke didn't look like two humans fighting. It was just weird looking.
