I'm not totally convinced that Karin is completely useless considering that everyone else Sasuke chose have some merit to them.

He kills every opponent (except Sasuke) with words, and hell, you can argue he killed him with words or at least killed his fighting spirit since he knocked Naruto out and fucking ran. Like a bitch.

The thing I have with Sakura, is that I've been completely disappointed lately after the awesomeness I witnessed in the Sasori fight. Seriously, Naruto goes away to train for two years under a Sannin, and I was a million times more impressed with Sakura's development at that time compared to Naruto. He was getting pwned by genjutsu and making all sorts of stupid decisions, while at the same time she's having an epic battle, confronting hundreds of puppets, and still pushing forward even when getting stabbed.

Now? She's nothing really.

I'm just hoping that this revelation that Sai's laying down is what leads to further development on her part. Something where she stops "cursing" Naruto with that promise, stops relying on Naruto so much, and starts some training of her own to better herself.

As for Karin, I still think she is near-useless in combat. Sure everyone on Sasuke's team is there because they have some merit. It's just that her's are her chakra-sensing and healing ability, hence why he's made sure to keep her in the back during battles. I'm sure she can fight, since she was the guard at that hideout, but I see her as being one of the absolute lowest in terms of combat ability. Hence why I threw her against Ino, for the lulz.

And to whoever above said tenten...really? Tenten? Come on. Her power is summoning weapons that everyone else already has by default, and being almost as good with them as everyone else is. Temari is the only consistently awesome chick in naruto. Sakura had one good fight, and Ino should just get offed by the village for being so useless.

On second thought, I think Sasuke is definitely the strongest girl in naruto.

Temari hasn't had a fight since Chuunin and even that wasn't a fight Shikamaru owned her. The hell? If we have to pick a girl who's even remotely capable, sadly it'd either be Hinata or Sakura. If we consider women, it'd be Tsunade without a doubt.

Temari owned that one flute girl in the forest to help out Shikamaru after the Chuunin exams. I think it was when they were chasing down those 4 people that were kidnapping Sasuke? She summoned that creature with a scythe tail that destroyed the whole forest killing that girl in the process. Not sure if that really counts as a fight though, it was over extremely quickly. Still awesome though!

Temari devastated poor Ten-Ten in the Exam prelims on force alone. Granted, Ten-Ten is limited by her specialty, but Shikamaru did not win his fight against Temari. Yes, he did damn well, but he forfeited, knowing full well that had the fight continued, he would have lost anyway.

Temari continued with a strong showing against Sasuke during the invasion, and suffered a last-minute loss.

During the chase after Sasuke, Temari completely butchered Tayuya. Her summon wound up leveling much of the forest they were in, as well.

Temari was deadly in part one, I can only imagine how much better she's gotten since then.

Yeah Kakashi got the final kill. But Naruto killed off two of Kakuzu's hearts and nearly killed the final one. In my books I mark that as "kills" on Naruto's part.

And yeah, Temari was a beast in part 1. If we were to base her current level off of where she was in part 1 (assuming she continued to train hard), she'd definitely be the strongest female in Naruto so far besides Tsunade.

Shikamaru gave up cause he's lazy, at the end of that match he could of finished her off so easily.
