Maybe Madara didn't control the Nine-Tails, but it was the other way around? Honestly can't say I dig the about face on Sasuke suddenly killing people, but just as some look for every little reason just to hate him as a character, they'll look for even more reasons to legitimize it.

I guess it's setting the stage for whatever Itachi gave Naruto, and maybe that'll wind up being more of a true fight between the brothers.

So Yondaime sealed the "light" chakra of kyuubi in Naruto. Now we know where the "dark" chakra is, but how did it get there? Did Madara put it there?

I'm beginning to buy into the idea that Tobi isn't really Madara but rather a host for Madara. The notes translators have placed alongside each time he has said that he is Uchiha Madara is that he has stated similar to the effect of "I am Uchiha Madara's power" not "I am Uchiha Madara".

I really am expecting Itachi to reveal someting to us all soon. Also, I think he was Jiraiya's informant on Akatsuki.

2) It has nothing to do with the Kyuubi at all, and this is what I'm banking on.

It's probably just Black Zetsu controlling Sasuke.

I'd actually be pretty thrilled if the dark chakra of the Kyuubi, who everyone thought was under control... was actually the one in control.

That wouldn't make sense at all though and would go against what's already been stated in the manga, considering that it's been well known that half of the kyuubi chakra is in Naruto and the other half was sealed in that death-god thing using the Fourth's jutsu.

Ugh, I would hate it if it turned out that there's kyuubi chakra in Sasuke. Black Zetsu controlling Sasuke at least seems plausible, since we have no idea what Zetsu is capable of.

My thoughts on how Sasuke should progress were stated very nicely by Gredival. Like I said before, I really really want it to just be Sasuke finally getting down to business and finally descending into a true villain. All he's been talking about is being an avenger and wanting to kill certain people. I just hope that this is him finally going through with those words now that the guy he wants to kill is right there in front of him, and the "darkness" that Karin feels is just a representation of Sasuke finally going down that path.

Sadly, I think it will most likely go down the path of "Wait Sasuke isn't truly evil... he was being controlled! He'll then realize the error of his ways and become BFF with Naruto again!"

well the intent to kill is there inside sasuke maybe dark Zetsu is just gonna push him over the edge into blood lust. which would be fine with me. i definitely wanna see some badassery and bloodshed from sasuke. but if he is being controlled and then realizes that he was wrong and goes back to konoha i will nerd rage and quit this manga

At this point it's like it's cliche to think Sasuke is going to go back to Konoha and become friends with everyone again, but I really can't see how, now, anyone would expect it. Maybe if there never was a Part II and this was still a manga of them being kids, but they and this manga both have matured so much that it's honestly silly to suggest even in a joking manner that Sasuke would end up going back to Konoha. I will gladly eat my foot if it happens, but it won't. Kishimoto still has his mancrush on Sasuke, but at least he's done enough to make Sasuke a sympathetic villain, at least in the eyes of some.

Noone knew what happened to the "bad" chakra (Yang?) and speculated that that half was fighting with Yondaime inside of the Death God used by Shiki fuujin or whatever. Now we see where the other half went and have to speculate how it got there.

Maybe the dark half is what comprises Jugo's cursed seal stuff? Could possibly explain his split personality to a degree, and if it's a mass chakra on the scale of a tailed beast, one could attempt to apply logic that not everyone could endure it or even put it to good use.

I know for now it's simply been described as something Orochimaru had looked into and tinkered with, but the ability to extract it and inject it into others suggests it's not entirely a bloodline thing. Hell, it'd be more on par with the various eye swapping we've seen lately.

Mizukage: "That Sharingan no..."*

Choujuurou: "?"

Ao: "The guy who beat Haku and Zabuza?"

Danzou: (Sasuke's here? It can't be...)

Akatsuchi: Must be one of the members of "Akatsuki"..."

Raikage gets Zetsu in a headlock

Yamato: "I don't know whether your body disappears or if you change into a ghost, but you need to materialize your body to snatch up Naruto. If you don't do so, you can't get him. That's why we can get you. You're in my territory now."

Tobi: "Hehehe I didn't think of anything particularly special in coming here. I've got my own plans. Besides, now I just wanna talk."

Kakashi: "Talk?"

He's surrounded by that wood thing of Yamato's

Tobi: "Right. What was it that lead Pain's Nagato to betrayal? I have taken an interest in you, Naruto."

Naruto: "I don't give a damn about that! What the hell do you plan to do with Sasuke?! Tell me about him!"

Tobi: "Sasuke..."

Kakashi: "..."

Yamato: "..."

Tobi: "That's fine with me. I'll tell you then...tell of the young man who was infected by the hatred and malice that is part of this world of shinobi. I'll tell you of Uchiha Sasuke."

Naruto's facial expression changes

Samurai A gets close. The cloak is hanging on a pillar

Samurai A: "Already escaped..."

Sasuke gets close behind samurai A and strikes him down

Karin and co. are hidden

Karin: "No good, there's too many of them! I'll just find him quick and we'll catch him!"

Suigetsu: "Just remember that guy Zetsu or whatever he said his name was!"

Samurai are all over

Samurai B takes out his sword and gathers(?) chakra

Karin looks on at that, hidden: "So samurai can control chakra too, huh?"

Samurai C, D, E, F, G, H are gathering(?) chakra along their swords

Suigetsu: "So they use chakra that way...?"

Karin: "Ah, Sasuke! Why'd he go-?!"

Sasuke goes next to samurai C, D, E, F, G, H

Sasuke: "I'm irritated right now. If you come, I don't think I can hold myself back..."

Samurai: "Hey I could say the same thing to you!"

The samurai sends chakra(?) from his sword

Samurai D: "He repelled it?!"

There's a panel with Sasuke standing in the palm of the hand of a giant shadow/beast(?) that's behind him

Darui: "There's a lot of chakra snuffed out around here! Most likely it's Sasuke's!"

Raikage: "Which one?"

Looks like the Raikage is preparing an action-plan for facing Sasuke

You know, it'd be logical to say Sasuke doesn't have the 'bad half' in him, but it'd be just like Kishi to do some shit like this. His 'bad' 9-Tails chakra awakening around now and what not. That or some other kind of tailed beast thing. Would be fitting and would piss a ton of people off. Me for sure. Feels as if we're reading Bleach and everyone flash steps/bankai's like no one's business.
