there's no way Susuke should be able to pull this outta his ass when there's a bunch of kages and their elites backing them up. There's also no telling what powers Mifune and the other samurai's have at this point. I honestly hope that Susuke gets thoroughly beaten this time round. Preferably I'd like to see him captured and put on death row. If not a the very least have the shit kicked completely outta him and have one of his team just barely save his ass. Also having 1-2 of his team caught, separated, or killed would make sense at this point.

Killerbee single handed beat their team already. Even in the end when Susuke pulled outtamyassinfiniterandomeyetricks jutsu he still hadn't beaten Killerbee. I'm sure if Killerbee had been serious about killing them he would have changed back earlier and attacked again because it seems that replacement worked just fine against amatersaru. Killerbee just wanted to be free of the village because he pretty much was a prisoner like most of the hosts.

So if Susuke somehow pulls this fight out of his ass I'm going to be extremely pissed. Susuke needs to experience a true defeat and then maybe he can finally start regretting being a royal dipshit. At this point I doubt he'd ever reconcile with Konoha + Naruto but he should feel the pain of cutting those attachments. In the Killerbee fight we saw a bit of that when team hawk was going to die he recalled team 7 so it's pretty obvious despite his d-bag nature he still has some attachment to the past.

At least Sasuke does shit, Danzou is like Pein without the badassery, it's lame. The whole politics angle they are trying to bring in is cool and all but I much prefer cool fight scenes to a chapter of Danzou talking about how he has to become the King of the Ninjas.

Two lines of thinking for this:

1) Losing the one-tail greatly reduces his stamina, he loses the auto-defense, and of course loses the ability to use the one-tail. Thus, weaker.

or

2) Loses the auto-defense, but his normal chakra no longer needs to keep the one-tail at bay. Thus, more of his normal chakra is now available to him. Could also argue that losing the auto-defense makes him an overall better fighter, since he has to be more cautious due to no longer having a safety net. Overall about the same as before if not a little better.

I would say yes, remember how Kankuro says when Gaara is leaving, "Not like Gaara needs bodyguards." Also Yamato alludes to the fact suppressing tailed beasts actually takes a large amount control/chakra. Naruto even has the seal to assist him in controlling the 9 tails. Now the 1 tail might not be quite as strong as the kyuubi (there's a debate as to whether the tailed beasts are ranked in order of power) but Gaara had to literally stay awake 24/7 to keep the 1 tail from taking control and manifesting completely. So given that he's free of the tailed beast he should have just as much power if not more (he just can't use the sand demon cloak or manifest the 1 tail) but he still has the sand shield that his mother is a part of and probably has learned many other jutsus too.

More importantly than whether he is stronger or weaker without it, why does he still have racoon eyes? I thought the whole point of that was because it wouldn't let him sleep and/or a physical manifestation of the tailed beast? This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed immediatly!

I'd definitely think that the amount of chakra gained from having the fox is more than the amount he uses to surpress (though he doesn't need as much to surpress). His is kindof like double sealed by his father and Jiraya.
