Raikage then seems to grab Sasuke, turn him upside down and say, “This is the end!! Raiga Bomb!!” (*The spoiler writer comments that this technique takes up over 2 pages, possibly because Kishimoto wants to show just how powerful it is) ----Translator comment: I think the Raiga Bomb is supposed to be a wrestling move similar to a Power Bomb where you pick your opponent up and slam him body/head first into the ground



*As Sasuke gets slammed to the ground the bones from what looks like Susanoo (the technique Itachi used) protect Sasuke from the fall, helping Sasuke to get out of his predicament


Raikage, noticing that Sasuke’s eyes are now Mangekyou Sharingan withdraws and raises his Chakra levels even more

Karin – What chakra…this is a bijuu amount of chakra.

The bone-like shape is drifting around Sasuke. Then a large amount of blood comes from Sasuke’s eyes as he uses Amaterasu!


*Scene changes to Naruto


*Continuing the conversation with Madara. Madara says that Naruto won’t be able to talk sense into Sasuke the same way he did Nagato.

Kakashi – Why are you collecting the bijuu in order to exact your revenge as an Uchiha?

Madara – To put it simply, in order to be complete (*in order to reach my/it/something’s complete form*).

Madara then disappears using his space/time ninjutsu saying, “It was fun chatting with you guys~”


*Scene goes back to Sasuke

Sasuke attacks Raikage with Amaterasu, but is easily avoided by Raikage, moving with speeds higher than the shunshin no jutsu. Sasuke, not even being able to keep up with the Raikage with his Sharingan, goes on the defensive. Sasuke uses the bones of the incomplete Susanou to act as a barrier around him, though it seems as though he cannot attack through the bones with Amaterasu…


*Then Raikage hits Sasuke with a furious Backhand Chop

Darui – Way to give it to him with your left arm, Raikage-sama!! (*Could imply that Raikage is not messing around when he hits with his left arm)


Sasuke goes flying and is on the ground when Raikage tells him that this is the end and then leaps into the air…

That’s all for this week. The spoiler writer then wonders if next week will start with the guillotine chop (another wrestling move).

From what we saw with Itachi, isn't Susanoo supposed to be a jutsu that is activated and starts shortening the user's life as it is used? Yet in this case, at least from the spoilers, it seems like Susanoo activated on its own to protect Sasuke similar to how Gaara's sand would automatically protect him.

Seems like a pretty sweet fight so far though. What I really like though is that Sasuke is finally on the defensive at the end, as he should be. It was good seeing him hold his own so that we get to see how strong he is getting (being able to hang with a kage), but now Raikage is taking it to a whole other level being able to outrun Amaterasu and move so fast that Sasuke's MS can't even keep up.

Madara stepping in to save Sasuke seems pretty obvious.

Like I've said earlier about what Itachi gave Sasuke, at least as far as the Amaterasu goes, Itachi only gave Sasuke the one-time (?) Amaterasu that activates at the sight of another Sharingan. He did this in an attempt to keep Madara away from Sasuke. The Amaterasu that Sasuke has used on Killerbee and Raikage has been his own from his on Mangekyou.

Though the idea of Itachi giving a limited and auto mini-Susanoo as well as that auto-Amaterasu seems somewhat plausible... though if so I'd imagine it would've activated during his fight with Killerbee.

I'll just assume it's just an issue with the way the spoilers are worded. Sasuke was probably able to figure out how to activate Susanoo, and it's incomplete mainly because he has no experience with it. He's shown to throw around jutsu with no regard to his own well-being, so it's not like he'd be too worried about it shortening his life.

BTW Raikage has some crazy endurance and speed man, his Raiton Cloak seems like it can be penetrated by things like Chidori and Rasengan since they are shaped chakra, but I doubt he can be hurt by Taijutsu when hit with it up.

Also his Raiton Cloak apparently gives him his high speed moves, only thing that can stop him is wind chakra moves I guess.

His wrestling Taijutsu moves were obvious from the start, I bet he could beat someone like Kisame really (who just uses water jutsu and sword techniques) but then again Kisame's Samehada Sword can absorb/dispelled people's chakra (it absorbed/dispelled Naruto's Demon Fox Cloak).

Don't forget Kisame is looking for Killerbee right now, so Raikage might hear about that soon some how and maybe end up fighting Kisame if Kilerbee loses???

Kisame is matched up against the wrong guy really though since Killerbee has lightning affinity too haha. Killerbee is a better Swordsman than Suigetsu, Zabuza, and Sasuke combined too really...

Sasuke is probably going to learn something new about his Sharingan out of the blue and randomly that he never knew before, or that possibly only madara can do (like the space time jutsu).

Madara will then see him do this, and realize his Sharingan is progressing farther and faster than even his own did, even without the brothers eye transfer.

My take (and I think it was mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread) is that this is all a ploy laid out by Madara in order to get Sasuke to implant Itachi's eyes.

Madara wanted Sasuke to fight the kages, mainly so that he could get beat down and realize he still has a ways to go in terms of strength. Raikage will end up with the upper-hand on Sasuke and Madara will intervene and pull Sasuke out of the fight just as he's about to get finished off. Sasuke will become frustrated/furious at the fact that he's still not strong enough to get his revenge, and will finally turn to using Itachi's eyes. This is all a part of Madara's plan, as he wants Sasuke's eyes to advance as far as possible (EMS) so that he can use them as part of whatever his final goal happens to be. That's my take on it anyway.
