I just remembered that in part 1, Jiraiya sealed Amatserau with some Jutsu, so they could escape out of the frog without getting burnt.

Jiraiya used this jutsu to seal away the left over black fire from Itachi Uchiha's Amaterasu technique.

The Amaterasu itself wasn't formed as a barrier... he lit the bones of Susanoo on fire with Amaterasu to add to its barrier effect. Which I thought was pretty sweet.

And while I'm not a fan of what the Raikage's done in the past with the Hyuuga stuff and the kage meeting, he's fucking awesome in this fight. Backhanding Sasuke despite knowing he's surrounded by a wall of Amaterasu is awesome. The way he is, I wouldn't be surprised if Raikage just completely ripped his left arm clean off to prevent the fire from spreading.

The one thing I don't understand is Madara's claim that he wants the Uchiha clan to be acknowledged. Personally I think he's just giving Naruto and co. a bullshit reason and has no desire for that acknowledgement. I just find that very hard to believe considering the fact that he played a major part in the slaughter of almost the entire clan and especially since (IIRC) he always wanted revenge on the Uchiha for kicking him out of the clan when he disagreed with their peace treaty with the Senju.
