Interesting points - When Karin senses Chakras in the room, Zetsu is shown the same colour as the others, does that mean he's not dead? If anything Sasuke's Susanoo looks more of a complete person than Itachi's was, just a little more sinister.

IIRC, the kazekage puppet was his best weapon.

The third Kazekage was his favorite weapon. It did have a very high combat ability but Sasori himself was also armed to the teeth. If Kankuro could restore the scrolls on the puppet's back it would be armed to the teeth. He would have access to the hand oriented flamethrowers and high pressure water cannons, the poisoned spike cable in the torso, and the hip blades. Granted it won't work because it was Sasori's technique but he may also have access to the chakra string extruder located in the right chest compartment. This would allow for a whole squad of puppets but probably not the 100+ that Sasori had under control. It's a very formidible puppet.

Note to self, Sasuke can now use a manipulated version of Amaterasu called "Enton," which really means Blaze Release. Enton is basically his ability to manipulate the Amaterasu's shape into a secondary Jutsu.

Holy shit man, his left eye's bloody as hell (from using Amaterasu), and his Susanoo is gonna drain the rest of his life force, if he don't finish off Sunagakure and Kumogakure quick, he's toast just like Itachi (maybe, but then again Itachi was really ill before he fought, and Sasuke's healthy).

Enton (Blaze Release) is classifed as Kekkei Genkai btw, since it's just Sasuke manipulating Amaterasu's hot flames into different shapes with his right eye.

Darui also has a Kekkei Genkai apparently too, Ranton: Reizā Sākasu (Storm Release), he combines his Water Release with Lightning Release (no brainer lol).

I wouldn't say he's toast quite yet. This is only his first time using Susanoo and this new technique of his. I think he's definitely accelerating toward blindness or whatever faster than Itachi did since he's using his sharingan so much, but he's still got a little ways to go before reaching that point.

Sasuke's Susanoo is still incomplete. It seems to be progressing extremely fast though, as this is only his first time using it and it's already pretty much a full structure after only starting out as a ribcage. I don't think he has the sword/shield yet.


Personally, I'd say that Sasuke is at the same level as sage mode Naruto. The problem now, though, is that Naruto needs to find a more efficient way to stay in sage mode. IMO, base Naruto as it is now doesn't stand a chance against Sasuke.

EDIT: Finally got a chance to read the chapter. I lol'd at Sasuke's "Gaara, my defense is more absolute than yours." Shades of "I'm more special than you!"

How is it pulling shit out of his ass? Susanoo is already known to be gained/accessible once the Mangekyou is obtained. Sasuke has the Mangekyou. Therefore Sasuke can obtain Susanoo. It just happened to be activated during this fight, which kinda makes sense considering the stress he's under from fighting a kage and now being completely outnumbered.

Yeah, but I'd say most of that is because we're not shown it. There's no reason to think he's not training on his own. It was even said in this chapter, Juugo saying "Is that what he wanted to try out...?" means that he has been training and theorizing and such.

While in transit? It's not like running through trees is that strenuous and they weren't being trailed/attacked (as far as we know) while doing this. So travel for a few hours, train for a few hours.

In fairness as much as I hate the whole stupidity of pulling powers straight outta their ass sharigan has never really been a "training" ability unless you count Kakashi. This makes sense to a certain extent given that it's a bloodline trait so it's very possible that it's instinctual and reactionary. Remember that Sasuke's sharigan was originally fully awakened by fighting at full power against Naruto's demon cloak form. Obito too had his sharigan brought out by extreme duress. To it's definitely possible that Sasuke didn't actually train at all after all he's what Kishi considers a natural "genius" where as Naruto and Rock Lee are hard trainer types. The difference between Naruto and Rock Lee is though is Naruto probably is actually a "genius" when it comes to ninja technique given his lineage the Kyuubi really fucks with his chakra control and he took a long time to mature.
