I think he summoned the Snake, went inside it by using a genjutsu (which someone commented was cruel) and then Suigetsu or w/e his name is summoned the snake to wherever he was, so it was like a total spacial movement. At least that's my best guess and it's the only thing that goes with all the evidence they left us and showed us. They never really explained it like some people claimed before.

Also, who the eff is Obito, I keep seeing him referred to and having a boulder dropped on him, did I forget some miniscule thing or is that manga only? I knew I shouldn't have read the manga. Obito=Tobi ok whatever, but who the eff is Obito??

Oh, Obito is from Kakashi Gaiden which hasn't been made part of the anime. It's chapters 239-244... you should read it.

I have no idea. They could have thrown in it somewhere among all the fillers between part 1 of the anime and part 2, but didn't. I don't think I've ever read an explanation as to why it was skipped. Assuming Tobi is Obito, perhaps they'll throw it in as a flashback during Kakashi's moment of shock at the revelation. >_>

just cause it showed the sharingan in his eyes doesn't mean it's him, even though i think it is. he says "my power... uchiha madara's power... the sharingan's true power..." he could have taken the eye from madara somehow.
quite a few people in the group have odd powers like that right, it's not too far off base to think he doesn't either

Seconded. This whole "it's obito back from the dead" shit is getting tired. Sometimes they really do kill characters off for good in manga. The fact that they've never bothered to put it in the anime further reinforces my belief that kakashi gaiden was just back story.

If you read the kakashi gaiden story, Obito was buried after he died or at least that's what I got from it. So I don't think tobi = obito.

Not only would a very strong medical ninja (which seems to mostly be Konoha ninja at all so far save Kabuto) have to have happened to walk by to save him, but he'd also have to shred the personality that is similar to Naruto and become a very evil person. I may be proven wrong be Kishimoto but I really don't see Obito being Tobi at all. Obito is dead, he was made to explain Kakashi's past, as well as give *another* example of how similar the current generation is to older ones, by being the "Naruto" to Kakashi's "Sasuke" in the team.

I am interested in finding out if Tobi is Madara, or just has a power as strong/similar to him.

Kakashi was given the Eye, it's possible someone went and found a way to take the other. Also if you remember way back, The hyuuga family has 2 parts of the family so that their bloodline isn't stolen by another clan/country. It's possible even that someone went and recovered the body, and disected it and whatnot and was able to put the bloodline into themselves.

I rather him not be obito, I rather him be someone else, such as madara, but then again it wouldnt make sense why he has sharingan, or why only his right eye is visible in his mask. His mask is designed so that your eyes are drawn into his uncovered eye, they are probably going to use obito somehow, it wouldn't really make sense for them to go with someone else when his mask is so obvious. No one else should have only one sharingan, other than obito or someone who took obito's other eye, and i really dont think an uchiha (madara) would just randomly cover half of his strongest point.

rin went rogue for some reason,hence why she disappeared. she went back and took obito's right eye and implanted it into her own eye socket (something she proved she could already do btw), and is just keeping her hair short.

Anko Mitarashi was Orochimarus student who was teamed up with Jiraiya who was a teamate of Tsunade who trained Sakura who is friends with Naruto who is after Sasuke who is after Itachi who is in Akatsuki which Tobi leads which makes Tobi, Anko. Which is awesome cause we need more Anko.

The "leader" that we've all been led to assume is the leader so far is apparently not the leader. The person up 'til now that we all thought was Akatsuki Leader is Pain (or Pein?), not an Uchiha.
